Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an avid personal historian and would like to thank those who began Find A Grave.com for helping me to see the headstones of family members for which I have been searching. I have visited cemeteries for years trying to locate family members and would like to help others do the same.

I will be happy to make corrections or transfers. Most of the memorials I have created are not related to me. Please make those requests under the "edit" tab.

Hi Dawn thank you for providing the additional information for there memorials. I left the surname as Newsom as that is how the name is spelled on the stones. Thank you again for your help

RE: CSA stone
Cute kid! I'm the same era, and it 'dawned' on me, that stone must have been created to observe the anniversary. I think its great you have it. Somewhere I have a magazine cover with me playing with a 50mm gun at Normandy, from around 1962-63 time frame, shot by a photographer working on documenting 20 years after WWII. I feel just as old!

CSA Stone
Was that you sitting in front of the CSA memorial stone in 1961-1965 for the 100th anniversary of the Civil War?

I was glad to do it. I have already put the photo on Cora's grave. Go check and make sure it shows up on there. God bless! Natalie

Hi Dawn I am guessing we may be cousins , you have sylvanus Anderson listed under family and he is my great great grandfather , his daughter Mary M. Anderson Weems had my grandmother Pearl L. Weems Garrett . If I am right then howdy cousin , always nice to find more family . I enjoy genealogy and its so hard to find descendants of great great aunts & uncles .

Sincerely , Jennifer

RE: Eleanor J Minar information
You are so very welcome! You are right the obituary tells you so much about a person and provides so much valuable information. When I find them, I always share them! Always happy and willing to help!
