Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Daddy is Herbert & my Momma, the late Rose Marie (Swangin) Stevens. My dads parents are the late Elihu & Adda Ruth (Hamilton) Stevens. My Moms parents are the late Willy Edward & the late Maxine Kelly (Potter) Swangin. Other grandparents are Manford & Clara (Shank) Winchester. The late William Clarence & Rosalie (Young) Berry. Junior and Brenda (Berry) Winchester. I always talked about starting a family tree so in the process I stumbled upon this website & thought WOW I can help others too in the process of finding info on my family. Too Awesome!I'm also looking for info on John & Sallie Stevens from around Manchester. They would be deceased but I want to locate their graves. I can't search any further in my genealogy until I get more info. If anyone can help plz message me on here or by email. ThxIf I'm going to take my time and go to a particular cemetery there is absolutely no way I'm going for a couple of headstones when everyone in that cemetery needs to be listed. I really enjoy doing this for ppl. Thx

RE: Jim Mullins
The Jim or Jimmy Mullins in the memorials? We are not related to either one. Just let me know which one and I am more than happy to transfer to you.

RE: we are kin somehow.
Maxine, I just reread your message..I if you took offense at ANYTHING I wrote, I apologize...I just gave my location, that my Potters were from Eastern KY...You don't have where you are from on your page so I didn't know where your family was from...No, just because your Mom has passed doesn't make you any less a Potter than it does me (my Mom passed at only 52)...I didn't mean to offend you, once again, I apologize if I did....

Maxine, I really wished you could have gotten to know my Aunt Rose (my Mom's baby sister, we lost her to cancer in 2012) she was the Potter family tree fanatic.. There was NOTHING she loved better than tracing the genealogy, she would spend hours online and had reams of pedigree charts tracking the family back 300 years.. I'm sorry your Mom didn't get to make it back to the reunion, my Papaw Potter and his siblings lived for the 1st Sunday in August because it meant they would be together again, if only for the weekend...I hope you can come to the reunion this year, I'd love to meet you (you can't ever have enough family)!

are we kin
Typo...The Breaks Interstate Park is known is the Grand Canyon of the SOUTH, not east...My family would kill me if I didn't correct that, lol..
