Thank you Rosie for adding me to your page for prayers. I'd also like to thank sr/ks, GeorgiaCA, Cari, & Judy Miller for putting me on their page for prayers. Thanks to all who have done so for me.
In Oct. 2010 they did a bronchoscopy while I was in the hospital and found I have both MRSA and Pulmonary fibrosis (scarring) in the lungs. I had pneumonia for the second time in 2 months plus have had it every year since I was 9. There is no cure, wearing oxygen will not help in the end. The MRSA in my bones, lungs and now my urinary tract.
The scarring (Pulmonary fibrosis) in the lungs keep growing until there is no room for oxygen. There is no cure, wearing oxygen will not help in the end. I have been raised in church all my life. I saw miracles and now all I can do is trust God that He will heal me or at least let me slip quickly and quietly away. The Dr. said I would not be alive past April 2012 and yet here I am. I am blessed and so thankful.
*** I went to an eye specialist when I suddenly could not see. There is no hope for my left eye. The retina detached part way and has been wrinkled up for some time now. The eye doctor said my health is to bad to repair it. The cataract surgery went well on my right eye on October 1st. ***
UPDATE Dec. 12, 2013 My lungs are still bleeding pretty bad. I am coughing day and night and that leads to passing out. I am to weak to walk and breathless if I walk a few feet. It is a struggle to get in my power chair.
I have been having burst of tears often now. I am thankful I have a good family but I feel like a burden. My face, feet, and hands are swollen all the time. My skin has blackened around my ankles from lack of oxygen. I have to take a water pill and I am allergic to sulfa.
Things look pretty bad and my husband said to tell it like it really is. When I update it is something all the time. I do not have many good days. I went to my lawyer some time back and had a legal document to say Do not resuscitate. I also had a will drawn up as my other one was to old. Everyone needs to have a Will because you never know.
Thanks Cindy TROLL'S Bridge Don't Stop Swinging That Hammer!

|Cari||Thanks for the update!|
Please do not feel like a burden. Clair and the children love you and will do anything for you that you need! It's such a blessing to have family to lean on. Accept their help with the love that it is intended.
During my chemo, I had to rely on others to walk and to eat. I even needed encouragement to try to walk to gain my strength. I'm also the person who is always the strongest. The person who's in charge and organized. It's so hard to give up that role, but there are times when we have to accept the assistance from others!
Our prayers continue for you. God Hears Our Prayers for you and Clair. Please keep posting! It helps me so much to target my prayers to your areas of pain! Believe in Miracles My Dear Friend. You are loved by many. Hugs to you and Clair.

Thank you, Ann, for your kind words about the sudden loss of my friend, Judy! The last time I spoke with her, she was fine! I can't reach her husband by phone and I have no idea how she died. I'm sad for her family. Her daughter and my daughter were friends, too!
I'm grateful that you've found another resource for your oxygen supply and thank you for updating today! I check in daily for your messages!
God Bless You My Dear Friend! You are always in our prayers...day and night.
Believe in Miracles! Love and Hugs to you and Clair!

|Algernon and Conan Together on the Rainbow Bridge||Hello Ann..|
Just dropping by to say, "Hello" and read your current posts. I am praying for you and wishing you the best.
|Cari||Just Stopped By|
I just stopped by to see if you had posted an update! We are continuing our prayers both day and night. I hope it brings you some comfort to know how much we care about you. I just found out that my best friend from college died on November 18th. I didn't even know she was ill. I'm in shock. Her name is Judith Needham. You can find a link on my contributor page for her memorial. I'll miss her smile and her laugh! But, the worst part is, I never got to tell her goodbye! Sorry to bother you with this!

I hope the bleeding in your lungs will stop and that you will feel some better soon.
