|Deb Minniear Rush||RE: Hartsock/Hartsook|
They are not related to me and I know nothing about them.
Thank you for the note that you left about Shaw/Dyer and some of the other names you listed. I have a very big family history library on my computer and each of these names are represented. If you wish for more info you can reach me at email@example.com and I will see what I can dig up so to speak.
|Wm & SJ. Donath||Joseph S. Woodward|
Please note that the picture of the stone on the Joseph S. Woodward memorial #70790815 in Grand Rapids cemetery, La Salle Co., Ill. is the picture of his PARENTS' stone and not the one with his name on it.
Maybe you could correct this. Thank you for your time. Wm & SJ. Donath #48116482
I showed the picture to my dad and he is certain that is not "our" Walter Irwin. Don't apologize for asking! I like trying to make connections with people and helping them out--even if it helping them rule out one of my ancestors ;-) Good luck with your search! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Hi! It was nice to hear from you. Unfortunately, I have not discovered a Walter (Hap) Irwin in my genealogy search yet. I also asked my dad and a couple of his siblings and the name did not ring a bell either. Much of my Irwin ancestry is still a mystery to me and I am the only one in my known family who has taken an active roll in the discovery.
The only person in my family tree that has the name Walter that I have uncovered so far is my gr-grandfather, Dayton Walter Irwin. A few documents that I have run across have his name as Walter Dayton Irwin. So it is a possibility that at one point he could have gone by Walter instead of Dayton but I have no evidence of him being referred to as "Hap." Dayton was born in 1889 and died in 1975. Not sure if those dates would line up with the approximate date of the photo. I would still love to see the photo if you do not mind. I could show it to my dad and his siblings to see if the two men in the photo jog any memories.
Hope to hear from you soon, Mary Judith Irwin

|Carli McK||Collier family|
Thank you, Alison, for finding the Collier family in the Summitview cemetery. I went ahead and completed records for Kate and Charles as they are William's parents per his marriage license, if you'd like to add Charles' photo to his record. I very much appreciate the work you've done thus far in helping me locate my family.

In reply to your question yes, I don't care if you share the pics. Carrie was a beautiful lady, wasn't she? I am so glad that all the pictures were marked, even if Maude Weiss (John's wife) did write the names right on the pictures!! I had to edit out her writing. LOL! Enjoy :)

It is a pleasure to share the pictures. I have heard that there are more pictures in the attic above my father-in-law's garage. I'm itching to get up there! Anyway, feel free to email me. firstname.lastname@example.org
