Kit (Elaine Page-Benson) attended Pfeiffer College in NC for two years and Glassboro State College in NJ for three years. She was a Law Enforcement Officer and Detective in NC for 10 years. She taught Special Education students for 9 years, and spent a year teaching students in a junior high school in-school suspension program. She now spends her time on nature trails, with quilting & crafting, reading, photography and genealogy.|
Morgan graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1972, and a MBA in 1984 from University of Scranton (PA). He spent twelve years working overseas in Germany, a tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and had a variety of assignments at various Army installations in the US. He's a member of the Civil Air Patrol, The Retired Officers Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. They live in Alaska, where Morgan works as an Energy Engineer.
Together we have 5 children and six grand-children. We enjoy sight seeing, visiting National Parks and State Parks throughout the USA, reading, photography, history, Volksmarching and hiking, learning and seeing the history of our great country, and GENEALOGY!

|Leon Armentrout||Foster Vandevander|
Per the West Virginia History and Culture website, theh Veterans Database, Foster Vandevander died on October 14, 1918 in Vaubecourt, France of pneumonia. This is substantiated by The Soldiers of the Great War, Vol. III, p.411, which indicates that he died of disease. He was not named as having been killed in action.

I would like your permission to copy the grave marker for Foster Vandevander which you posted on his Findagrave memorial.

Oh no! That's terrible!
I was on my way from one cemetery to the next when I came across the Reynold's cemetery and I stopped and took pics but I forgot to log the location! Oy!

Thank you for the transfer of Clayton Kille's memorial. I expanded his bio section to include details given in the "Poems" book compiled by Binford T. Shreve for his mother, Elizabeth (Kille) Shreve Chambers. Eventually I'll add more details and work on making the content flow a little better. I've linked the family members I manage to Clayton's memorial, and would appreciate you linking the memorials of Rachel Gaskill and Elizabeth Shreve Chambers. Best Regards, John D.
