Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where others cried
For loved ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Thank you for the explanation Chris. That makes sense and it sounds like you know the cemetery really well, so I appreciate your input s to why they do not appear. Thank you again and I would still appreciate the one you originally said you would try to get if that is ok?

Lujan's of Santa Ana Cemetery
Hello Chris. First and foremost I want to say thank you again for all that you do with helping others find loved ones and to fill in missing parts of stories. I noticed you have offered to take a photo for Ramon Lujan for a request I placed. I was wondering (if you have not yet done so) if you might know of the locations of Carmen, C., and Candelaria Lujan that are buried there as well. You had made pages for them back with marker locations in October of 2013, and I was just wondering if you know if they are there or maybe at this point missing like you have shared with me on a different name before. Thank you again.

Wellington Darling
I am doing genealogy research to find out what happened to my gr-gr-gr grandfather's sister, Esther Lucinda Wright - she was married 3 times that I know of. She was married 3 times and one of those was to Elisha Darling, father of Wellington Darling.

Is she somewhere in your family tree? or can you help me?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

RE: Taba/Kobashigawa Photos
Sorry for the photo that still needed to be rotated. I took those while in Hawaii over a week ago. While taking a couple Find A Grave shots here in Kansas yesterday, I found that there were several photos still in the upload queue. I'm trying to adjust to the mobile app. It is more convenient, but I just don't think I get as good as photos (and photos in the correct orientation). Thanks for letting me know I needed to rotate the photo. I just remembered that I better check the GPS coordinates, too. Hope it didn't put the Kansas coordinates in!

RE: Raymond Mauerhan

I thought that you would want to see the note that I received from Raymond's daughter-in-law regarding the information that you found at Fairhaven Memorial Park, and the good that will come from it. Thanks again, Steve

"Thanks so much for sending the information from Chris, I am amazed at how detailed a search the Find-a-Grave contributors will go to to find the correct site, that is so very kind. I showed it to (Raymond's son) and we will check into it next time we are down there, it is very sad that his dad is just in a common storage area."
