Please add picture to
77338011 Laura Jane Wolfe in Alto Reste, you added it to her mother Ruth Snyder Wolfe and when I looked at it I saw she is listed on there also. Thanks.

Bridget Ronan
I will keep looking for her, but haven't found her yet. It seems she might have passed around August 1889, by husband's obit.

Martin's obit listing wife passed away 12 years ago last month (obit says) plus daughter Mary is listed as still alive in 1901. Daughter Annie is not listed so maybe she passed before father?

Altoona Tribune
September 9, 1901

At 4:35 o'clock Saturday morning Marin Ronan, an old and respected resident, died at his home, 2222 Eleventh avenue, of diseases incident to old age. Deceased was born in Mayo county, Ireland, June 22, 1822. In 1851 with his wife he came to America and settled in this city and was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company until a year ago when he was placed on the retired list. He was a member of St. John's Catholic church and was much esteemed by a large circle of friends. He was married April 25, 1847 to Bridget Mullen who preceded him to the grave twelve years ago last month. He is survived by these children: William and Michael Ronan, Pennsylvania railroad engineers, and Mary and Bridget. The funeral will take place this morning, leaving his late home at 8:30 o'clock and proceeding to St. John's church where requiem high mass will be celebrated. Interment will be made in St.John's cemetery.

RE: Martin and Bridget Ronan
I will keep looking into the family. So, far I checked sons, Michael & William's obits, and neither say parents survive them. Sometimes you can get lucky and they might say in a child's obit when the parents died or get some type of info at least. But, no luck yet.

RE: Richard & Eliza Rowan
Dear Father Albert Ledoux,
Sorry about the edit request. Even though I have been a member for 2 years I have not done edit request since when I first joined. I spent awhile trying to figure out how to do them. After several I think I have it figured out now. A lot of my husband ancestors are buried in St. John's cemetery. The pictures I took 19 years ago were not a good quality so I appreciate you photographing the cemetery now.

Richard & Eliza Rowan

Eliza Lanaghan Rowan Find A Grave Memorial# 151876495

Thank you for making the memorial for Richard Rowan. I am wondering where you got his children's names of Martin, Bridget, Annie and Mary?

Richard Rowan and Elizabeth Lanaghan Rowan are my husbands great great grandparents. He and his wife are buried in Saint John's cemetery. They had 10 children - John P., Richard, James Joseph, Anne Estella, Mary Alice (my husbands great grandmother who is buried in Calvary cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA), Margaret R., William P, Ellen, Peter Francis & Elizabeth Joan. It seems like him and his wife are correct but the kids do not fit unless they had another 4 that I am unaware of. The tombstone pictures are very hard to read are you sure they are their children? If so I guess I need to dig a little further into the family.

Could you please link their daughter Mary Alice Rowan Gilmartin to them? Find A Grave Memorial# 116565486

Thank you for all you do.
