RE: Lebanon IOOF/Masonic burials

Thank you very much for your assistance on this!

As I said in my earlier message, the available documents were not very specific concerning their burial locations, so checking the records like you have is the best way to rule a location in or out.

Since they had strong ties to the Crawfordsville area, that is probably where they are. Unfortunately, the cemetery records for Crawfordsville are not the best. :-(

Thanks again!

Lebanon IOOF/Masonic burials
Hi Judi,

When you have a chance, could you please check the records (possibly the old index cards out in the shop building) to see if a couple of people are buried there? They are not on the Greer listing, but obits kinda point that direction. They are Find A Grave memorials 144786609 & 144784770, Joseph Sloan and Ella Frances Sloan Walling. I have also requested a DC for Ella, to see if it might be more specific on her burial location.

Thanks, & have a great week!

Yes!! He DID marry Rebecca Walker! I'm only related to the Walkers by marriage then. I come down through the Wolfe line. Still, we're FAMILY! If You are related to the Wolfe's through the Walker's then we ARE family! YAY!!!

Ida Belle Wolfe Besst
Hi again!
I'm related through the Wolfe side. Ida Belle and I have the same great grandfather, Ludwig "Lewis" Wolfe. Only in our family history her name was Arabelle Wolfe, daughter of Lewis Clark Wolfe, son of John Samuel "Jackson" Wolfe, son of Ludwig "Lewis" Wolfe and Charlotte Runner. :-) My best bet is that you're through the other side?

Thank you so much for your quick work on the headstone of Bonnie Eileen Blanshan. Although I never met the lady I did hear nice things about her. Have a great day....Carol Parsons McCord
