I'm very much hooked on genealogy. Now that I'm retired I am willing to help others and fill photo requests for my area. This site has been a great help to me in finding information and photos and it's time for me to help others. |
I'm currently photographing cemeteries in Hubbard and Eastern Becker county, Minnesota.
During the winter months I have been looking up obituaries to add to memorial pages that appear in the old Park Rapids Enterprise. If you are looking for an obituary you can email me but please make the request during the winter months.
I will add to, change, delete, and Correct any Memorial I've added.
I will be happy to Transfer Memorials according to FAG Guidelines but I will consider other transfers on an individual basis. Please State your relationship when asking for a transfer. I will not transfer Bulk name requests.
Please use the EDIT tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or to have me correct or add information and state your relationship to the person when asking for a transfer.
No need to ask permission if you want to use my photos for ancestry and personal use, but I do appreciate credit given to me for taking them.
Please do not take my photos and upload them to another page on Find a Grave. If you need a photo added to a different page just ask and I will add it.
If you want the Photo's for resale, for profit, permission is denied.
I am Researching these surnames: Reeser/Rieser, Dunham, Curphey, Newell, Lantz, Goble, Adams, Sullivan, Lamb, Bentley, Boyer, Chapin, Wangen, Meisenhelder and Ziegler.

Please don't use chalk, flour, chemicals etc. on markers when taking your grave photos. Overtime these things can all cause damage to a marker.
PLEASE,DO NOT use the message board for sending information or transfer requests. That is not what it is for. I WILL NOT MAKE ANY CORRECTIONS, LINKS OR TRANSFERS FROM MESSAGES LEFT ON THE MESSAGE BOARD.

In the event of my death or my becoming inactive for a long period of time I would like all my memorial pages passed on to my son DR Wangen #47374156.

|Jon Patzman||Sawtooth Mountain Cemetery|
Hi Joan I have a question on this cemetery it comes up being in Silver Bay on Find a Grave. When I google it everything else comes back that it is in Two Harbors. Since you took the picture could you tell which is right.
Thank you, Jon
|Clarice Courneya||Herbert and Minnie (Conklin) Nunn|
Joan, I am double checking I have a book listing the above being buried in Lakeview cemetery-Herbert Albert Nunn-died March 1, 1936, was buried at Oak Grove, but note says his remains were removed to Lakeview. Minnie (Conklin) Nunn died February 15, 1961, Lake Park, Minnesota.
I want to set them up on Find A Grave, but wanted to check out information-I do not find any kind of telephone number for Lakeview cemetery.
Thanks for any help you may have.
I never could find any old pictures of Ponsford, but most of my relatives are gone-they are only 8 first cousins left.

Joan, Oh my gosh. I sent you the previous message about 6 hours ago, and at that time I also requested photos for Franclia Viola Ingols Hitchcock, Memorial# 148203929 an June Neta Hitchcock Terhark, Memorial# 122342070 because someone attempted to get the photos and weren't able to.
The same person just canceled my re-request from a few hours ago. I sent yet another re-re-request for both of them. I also sent that person an email to please do not remove my request again.
I've never had this happen before.
|Evie (Greer) Schipper||photo request|
I see you are the creator and photographer of Howard Arthur Hitchcock, Memorial# 42745792.
I requested a photo for Howard's wife also. Franclia Viola Ingols Hitchcock, Memorial# 148203929.
I just heard back from someone that attempted to fulfill my request, they weren't able to get the photo for me, they stated, "When I contacted the person that has the records for this cemetery she would not give me any information as to where Franclia was buried. I was told they have a lady that does all the photos and would not want to step on her toes."
It looks as though you are the person that takes the photos. I just re-requested the photo for Franclia Viola Ingols Hitchcock, Memorial# 148203929. Also, for June Neta Hitchcock Terhark, Memorial# 122342070. You have taken wonderful photos for the Hitchcock family at Greenwood Cemetery.
Thank you for all the wonderful photos.

Thank you. I created her parents memorials and linked them together too. I have the family book and knew the circumstances. Take care, Cheryl

Thank you for the memorial of my 4th great aunt. I have a note to add to Anne's bio if you could.
I haven't found the place of her mother's rest even though in the family notes it states that she died in Anne's home. Here is the following quote,"Mrs. Sarah (Huffman) Blair, wife of Alexander Blair, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Anna Manlove, at Wadena, Minnesota September 4 th 1887. Deceased was born in Trumbell Co., Ohio in the year of 1807. Mother is not dead but gone home, she simply fell asleep in the arms of Jesus."
Sarah Huffman Blair died in 1887 and her husband, Alexander died in Montfort, Grant, WI in 1884.
If you could place this information into Anne's bio it would be a help. Thanks Cheryl

I am interested to know your connection if any with this family? They are part of my direct heritage.
Looking forward to your answer,

Thank you for linking Willard to his parents. I have been on a mission to link all of Andrew's children to him, and you have helped--it is appreciated.
