RE: John Palla Grave in Woodlawn
I didn't either until someone sent me a message asking if they changed Woodlawn to Saint Marys. So I looked them up at Fayette County cemeteries and that's how I discovered there were 4 separate cemeteries and not one.

RE: John Palla Grave in Woodlawn
Your welcome Sanford, I actually went thru Woodlawn twice. I didn't realize there are 4 cemeteries that are grouped together with nothing separating them other than tree lines.

RE: William Horsey
I didn't even think about it til someone raised a stink! But I guess they have a point. :(
Most of the time people have posted death certificates, birth cert, etc as a photo on the memorial so everyone can see it.

HI Sanford, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Just letting you know I posted obit for her in Barratts. Wife of William Hoey, one of the ones I did pics for you for last year. You might want to copy it and save to your tree.....before "someone" makes it disappear...Hugs

William Horsey
Hi! I didn't see anything on William's site with his info on it, so I researched him. I found his birth certificate and posted it on his site for proof of his DOB, POB and parents...but I couldn't find anything on his death. I went ahead and approved the edit anyway (because I trust your work!), but can you post something for that if you have it just in case someone asks? I've been "scolded" by Find A Grave (after someone complained) for making changes to my memorials without documentation to back them up :[
Find A Grave suggested I ask people to post documentation for any edits they suggest but people get SO pissy when I do that. UGH! Needless to say, my memorials are accurate, but I'm not making many friends! LOL! So anyway, I'm swamped at work with end of year stuff, but I'll try to research the other edits you suggested so I can post that documentation and approve the other edits too. Just might take a little while :)
Happy 2015!

RE: Sanford pics
Cool history! I can see why the change in management would be so upsetting to you. I'll keep you posted. Joe

RE: Sanford pics
Got it. I will have to check again to be sure, but I don't think the stones have turned because they sunk, but rather because they were not very firmly attached to their bases. Perhaps they look like they have sunk because the older picture was taken when the sun was casting shadows that made the stones look taller. Anyway, next time I go I will see if the stones can be turned and perhaps secured better.

RE: Sanford pics
Were you going to upload a new photo to Nellie Patterson's memorial. It's good to have either a photo or a note indicating that the grave is unmarked so that others don't also request a photo.

I will not disagree with you generally regarding the management of Loudon Park. However, I'm not sure what you are referring to with respect to that particular plot. What specifically are you concerned about? Let me know what I can do to monitor any requests you make of the cemetery staff.

Regards,
Joe Canner
