White Family Cemetery
Hi Karen:

I thought I would give you an update on the cemetery. My cousin Dan and I were able to acquire the family cemetery back from the Cemetery Preservation Society.
Dan and his 89 year old father are going out to Colorado Sept. 2nd, to visit, and go to the cemetery to place a headstone on our great grandmother Lucinda's grave. A few of us got together and chipped in to purchase one for her, since she is the only one without one.
We are very excited to have the cemetery back in the family.
Once the stone is placed, Dan will take a photo so I can post it on her memorial page.

Hopefully you get out there before the snow flies. Boy, ND sure got hit early.

Dan took some great shots of the country too, I am having fun posting them on FB. I haven't been up there since I was a kid. Beautiful part of Colorado.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Karen:

Dan got home, and sent me the photos of the cemetery, and the gravestones. I posted them, so you don't have to go out there and do that.

RE: White Family Cemetery
Hi Karen:

Dan said he found the cemetery, and contacted you, and gave you directions.

He also said there is a new burial, Kathryn Park.
Here is her Find A Grave# 106655058. If you get up there, would you please add her to the list of photos?

Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I live out of state, and when I go back, it is usually for one of the holidays, not ideal weather to trek around in.

I have a "journal" that I acquired with information in it about the cemetery, and the organization that erected a memorial on site. I will dig it out for you tomorrow. I just moved, and packed all of my genealogy stuff away for safe keeping.

My email is

Thank you so much, it means a lot to me.

I want to thank you for the pictures you have provided. Without the work you do to help alot of people would not ever be able to visit, (even if it is virtual) the site of a family member. Again, thank you very much for the time you give to this cause...darla

Thank you so much for the photo of her headstone. I just put in a request for the photo of John Edward Green's headstone, also. I wasn't sure he was buried there. Many thanks!

Many thanks for your help and the time you took to put the photo of the headstone with the page.

Enjoy life -- it is short.

This is one of the many reasons I do find a grave. It has also helped me with relatives I am not in touch with. I am very happy to be of help!
