RE: Memorial 70735768 Brantley Jones Hudson
Hi Sandi, I am not related to the Hudsons, just working on a research project. Had you heard about the Massacre before you read it on my blog?

Methodist Campground Cemetery
We were very lucky to find someone that had 4 wheel drive to get us to the cemetery.
Here is how we got there: take 13 (Waynesboro Highway) to 228 south (Smith Branch Road)turns into Beech Creek Road (County Hwy 914). Left on Jetter Rd. to a fork in the road, go to left onto Morrison Creek. Follow Morrison Creek to Praters Chapel, then right on Whits End Ranch Road. There is a brown house on a circular drive on the right of the road, just as the road ends into a farm field (it had hay in it when we were there). When we explained why we were there a retired English police officer led us about 1/2 to 1 mile through the farm field, then we got on an ATV to go up a rocky hill near the "Jetter" farm. Then there is a walk to the cemetery. It was terribly unkempt with grass and shrubs. We were lucky to find the graves we were looking for right at the front of the cemtery. The person (Paul) that took us to the cemetery told us that they were going to have some people come and clean up the area, but I don't know whether that has happened.
If you are up to an adventure, this is one for you. Remember the flea and tick spray. Wear at least ankle boots.

Are you sure the parents numbers are correct?
85092854 is Frances M. Green 1840-1927.
63691903 is Rosie Viola Chandler Griffin 1886-1944. She is 46 years older then Frances and not a Green. Judy

RE: Taylor Cemetery, Missouri
The cemetery is very overgrown with weeds and vines. It would be extremely difficult to walk through.

I knew Jessee had another family. It was often the scandalous topic of conversation as I was growing. She was supposed to be a housekeeper he took up with. What I don't know is anything about the other family and have never been able to other than their names. My email is m_lee_s@yahoo.com write me there.

I can transfer these to you if you want.

If you use the "EDIT" tab to make requests it makes life a lot easier.

Hi Sandi - No I am not kin to anyone in Benton County. I am writing a new Benton County Cemetery book and documenting all the cemeteries and interments. I'm trying to take photos of all, but right now the priority is verifying names, dates, etc. Is there anything I can do for you? Rick
