Bio and Links
Bio Photo I discovered Find a Grave by accident soon after the death of our precious daughter, Marjorie. She was my first entry. I have added family members, friends, and others that I have no connection with but simply wanted to add them on these pages. I will have more of my family entered in the future. My wife and I are retired and we love it! I love riding the back-roads on my Harley and can't seem to ride past an old cemetery.....I love walking through them and find peace and quiet in them. Thanks so much to everyone that has placed notes, tokens, and have sponsored my memorials. God bless you all.

RE: ~~GOOD NEWS~~
Hello Tom,

It's wonderful to hear from you, as always!

Bill and I love the cracker Barrell, also!

As it is near the highways, we go there for meals

when we are traveling. YES, it is NOISY! How-

ever, we LOVE the cozy, friendly, country ways of

this restaurant. The food is SUPER, and the por-

tions are so generous! We've bought a lot of

things there: of course I ADORE the old fashioned

bottles of soda, and we love the old fashioned

candy. We've bought a beautiful set of blue

canisters there, with birds and flowers and

several other things. I LOVE the darling clothes

they have for little girls. The prices are steep,

so I haven't bought anything for my little nieces,

but admiring them doesn't cost a cent! On the way

home from Georgia, I tried cheese grits there...

and I MUST have the fried apples!

I am SICK of the TRUMP/CLINTON stuff, also! Bill

and I will be voting for the INDEPENDENT party.

You are RIGHT about people needing "a change of

heart" being a necessity for ending the ghettoes.

I love the wise words, "Give me a fish, I eat for

a day. Teach me to fish, I eat for life." The

poor only need to be given things first, then

they need an opportunity and instruction to fend

for themselves. A lot of prejudice-on both sides-

needs to come off, first.

PLEASE pray for me: I am so happy the day of

getting my treatment is close (10 days) but my

POOR BODY is having a ROUGH TIME: my nerves are

jumping still. Not as much, but they are. I get

a yukky taste in my mouth and- THE WORST- my bones

are HURTING, HURTING, HURTING!!! Also, scar

tissue from my surgeries, especially my spinal

operation, becomes very sensitive. I just offer

it to Our Lord, thinking of what He had to bear on

the Cross. Also, how BLESSED I am, to have the

medical treatment, insurance woes nonwithstanding!

When I saw the footage, on MSN, of those poor

refugees, getting off of the boat, and swimming

into the Mediterranean, with help from a non-

profit service, I was very moved. I am trying to

be happy with LESS: I was so disappointed with

our not having a cruise for our 25th, which is

a "spoiled brat" way to approach life. I was so

glad to get that off of my chest, at the Christ

Renews His Parish meetings! Bill does the best

he can and my family, especially my parents, gave

us a very generous gift of some green stuff to

help us! Once I feel better, I should look into

tryng to get a job. My psychiatrist gave me some

information, which I should look into. One who is

on Medicare CAN work, also, he said! We have old

and new bill to pay. Bill thinks we could go on

a cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary. I DO

SO NEED a vacation that does NOT involve the wild-

ernes and so much driving from Point A to Point B,

getting lost at times!

I learned of Gene Wilder's death last night. I was

so grateful for his work to raise awareness of

women to be examined for ovarian cancer. He even

testified before Congress! Thanks to my love of

show business and biographies, I read her book,

"IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING" years before I was in her

shoes! It helped sooooo much! The cancer support

group I was in certainly knew of her "Gilda's

Club". I LOVED her stuff on Saturday Night Live!

I remember seeing WILLIE WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE

FACTORY when it was in the theaters. I was in

the first grade. Also, the night my family and I

were "Back home again, in Indiana" we were SO

HAPPY to see it on TV that night. Bill ADORES

Blazing Saddles, which I had never seen before

and Halloween is NOT Halloween until I have seen

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. I hope TCM, which I ADORE,

will have some of Gene's movies on. OH, YES:

He and Richard Pryor were a RIOT together in

STIR CRAZY!!! On a more serious note: I remember

as Richard Pryor was suffering from MS, there was

"A PARTY FOR RICHARD PRYOR" on TV. Gene was not

there, but he was in a BEAUTIFUL tape, in which

he said, "I LOVE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE SILLY."

When I knew Bill was my TRUE LOVE and he knew I

was his, I told him of that story, and how I love

hbim because HE IS SILLY and he said he felt the

same way about ME! I have a tendency to take

myself WAAAAYYY TO SERIOUSLY: Bill is the one who

helps me to STOP hurting myself with that!

The history you gave me about the man who gave

Wild BIll his last card game was INTERESTING...

I'll tell Bill about it, as he ADORES any history

of the Wild West!

Finally, THANKS for the REASSURING info about

gallbladder surgery! That greatly lessens my

worries for my friend, John. He will be having

the consutation with the surgeon Thursday.

Bill will be calling me any minute, on his way

home, so I'd better say, "See Ya Later, Alligator!

TAKE CARE, ANNE
