I have been a cemetery fan for over 40 yrs, often stopping along roadsides to visit. I returned to Owen County, KY after living in GA for many years. I found Find A Grave while trying to do some research for my maternal relatives. What a exciting site to find. When I joined, my goal was to fulfill some photo requests in some of the local cemeteries. Now I can't go to a cemetery without wanting to photograph all the grave sites there so they can be posted as remembrances.|
It makes me sad to see a memorial that has no flowers and seems forgotten. I will try to post a flower to any grave I photograph or visit that doesn't already have one.
I will consider transfers on an individual basis. Please refer any tombstone photos you might post back to Find A Grave. Under NO circumstances should the personal pictures I post be used on any site. These photos are posted solely to honor the deceased, and are not to be used for your Ancestry trees.
Thank you to those people who have worked so hard to make this site successful. I hope my contributions will be valuable.

I hope you are staying warm up there in Ky!! My goodness. I wanted to take a second and ask you if by some chance you knew where the Stewart Family Cemetery is or was in Owen County? The next time I drive up to Ky, I was hoping to look around for it if at all possible. No biggie if not. Thanks mam... - Jerry

Hi, This related to a rather arrogant guy who was brand new and created over 60 memorials across 4 or 5 days and nearly all of them were duplicates to other people's memorials. He upset me enough that I alerted a few others about the dupes he was creating. I sent an email to admin only to put the guy on report. I don't know what kind of exchange the admins had with him but they completely smashed him, his profile, and his memorials. If the guy's memorials had additional information they were merged with the originals. The admin folks acted very quickly on this so I am sorry about your confusion. All is well in the neighborhood. :-)

Her husband is buried in the Owenton Cemetery, Owenton, KY. The memorial #83473825.
I did the same thing. Because there was a memorial I added a photo. Then, I discovered that Naomi was very much alive and doing pretty well for someone almost 92 years old.
Ironically, I found your message waiting for me tonight when I got home from visiting with Naomi for about an hour. She is a very perky, sweet lady.
Thanks for your kind comments about my photos. It is something I really enjoy. Thank you for all your hard work.

I see that you have posted a photo for this memorial. I, too, had posted one until I realized that this memorial had been created and the lady is still living. So,I took my photo off. She is very much alive and doing pretty well. Just thought you would want to know.
