I have been working on my Family Tree for almost 12 years, slowly at first, but increasingly as the passion has grown.|
I am committed to being as accurate as possible, so I do not enter anything without supporting documentation which means hours and hours of research and then entering things either manually or scanning them to my computer. My family tree now has over 32,500 persons with over 11,500 media items as of 11/15/14. This does not include birth, wedding announcements, & obituaries which are typed in separately under "Notes."
I am luckier than most in that both my maternal and paternal ancestors stayed almost entirely in the Niagara/Orleans County area of New York State.
I am more than willing to help others with volunteer photos in my area of Southwest Florida because I've received some beautiful photos from volunteers in the areas surrounding my hometown of North Tonawanda, N.Y. Thank you one and all for your support and friendship.

You did well on your research! I just got off the phone with my sister. Her and my cousin are the genealogists and do all my research. Preston Wade Barclay's Father is questionable. I forwarded our conversations and will have my cousin Dawn Wendt explain the situation and what she has. She is a fierce researcher and has backed me up on my cemetery tours. Private e-mail me your e-mail at Varkalis@hotmail.com . I'll have you two correspond directly, she can answer a lot of your questions better than I can. The internet is a great thing most of the time. Great to hear from you!

Your welcome to use the picture. There are multiple entries in the same cemetery for her. She was my Great Aunt on my Father's side. Her son Paul created two entries for her recently. My Father (who has since passed away in 2005) created the original one. I tried contacting him about it but he has not responded. I knew her as Aunt Maddie. My Mother, Father, and Brother are buried near her, the husband (Uncle Barc), and her daughter Patricia (Barclay-BOBER). How funny I received a message from her niece today, Lydia Barclay who lives in Canada. I am sending her vegetable seeds for this Summer.

Boy, was I ever confused at first about your message! I am attaching a picture as you requested. But if you don't mind please contact me privately through my email on my contributor page because I have more to say about that.

Ellen, Thank you so much for all the hard work that you have put into this project. Your work on Find a Grave has helped me greatly!!! My name is Thomas Puff and I live in Rochester, N.Y. My Grandfather is Frank J. Puff who was born in Lockport,N.Y. to Joseph Puff and Elizabeth Fehlner. (1869-1956) On Elizabeth's Death Certificate it states that her mom is unknown and that her father is George. I've never found anything on George but felt that Andrew J. Fehlner (born 1867) had to be her brother. And Barbara Fehlner who married into the Uebelacker's had to be her sister. You have given me a connection that I have been missing for decades. I would love to see some of the info on these families! Thank you so very much!!! I have info that I can share with you on some families in Rochester, if you would like. You can contact me thru Find a grave or email: Tpuff@frontiernet.net. Thanks again and God Bless.

As far as I know you are correct these are the only 2 cemeteries in Martinsville. The original graves that were next to St Pauls church were relocated accross the street on Wall St. The original cemetery is now a parking lot. As I remember there are alot of headstones that are unreadable near the storage building in the cemetery.
My name is Charles David Buckner. I am the son of Charles Edward Buckner Jr. who passed away in 2002. This was also the year my son Charles Clarence Buckner was born. I found some great pictures today of my father and his father and so on... It is a great pleasure to see the work you have put into this! I would love to see more of the Buckner family tree if you would be willing to share it.

Hi are you related to Joseph Herrmann who settled in Conneaut, Ohio? His wife Bertha is from Dunkirk. She was born in 1882.They both died in 1964.
We wpould love to have you join us on wikitree.com because we are fussy about sources there!

No, no, you didn't do it wrong. I was just wondering if you had info on another possible headstone. Contact me directly anytime.

Isn't her headstone the same one used for Charles Percy?
