I have been working on my Family Tree for almost 16 years, slowly at first, but increasingly as the passion has grown.|
I am committed to being as accurate as possible, so I do not enter anything without supporting documentation which means hours and hours of research and then entering things either manually or scanning them to my computer. My family tree now has over 44,000 persons with over 13,600 media items as of 06/01/16. This does not include birth, wedding announcements, & obituaries which are typed in separately under "Notes."
I am luckier than most in that both my maternal and paternal ancestors stayed almost entirely in the Niagara/Orleans County area of New York State.
I am more than willing to help others with volunteer photos in my area of Southwest Florida because I've received some beautiful photos from volunteers in the areas surrounding my hometown of North Tonawanda, N.Y. Thank you, one and all, for your support and friendship.

You are so very welcome! I want to thank you for the ability to satisfy our new passion. I will check your request list and try to discover more for you. Best wishes.

I accepted the edits and added a note to Gordon's bio section about his place of birth.
As always, let me know who you would like to care for, and I'll get them transferred to you. (I accepted the edits without noting everyone they were for - sorry!) I love to see folks go home!
I'm trying to get to White Chapel, and I have a list of your photo requests. I'll need to check to see if you've added any since I made the list. Not promising because this summer has been really, really, hard - I haven't been off the farm except to get groceries and building materials all summer!

I just posted a photo for Robert Seiffert. I wanted to let you know that the cemetery told us that he was Killed In Action in 1945 and buried in 1948.

You have a request in F A G for a photo of a grave. This F A G memorial site does not include the Plot and/or Lot numbers which would help easily find the graves you want photographed.
If you will call or email the Forest Hill Cemetery and ask for Plot and Lot information, I would be glad to go there and take the photographs for you.
The office number is 315-735-2701 and their email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you have the information, please add it to the person’s F A G memorial site and mark it with a “Photo Request” or email me the burial information at email@example.com
Please note: If the gravestone is covered in lichen or moss I will attempt to clean them with water and soft soap solution, except for older slate and limestone gravestones. I do not use shaving cream, chalk or abrasives.
GPS Coordinate update: Also note, I routinely update the GPS coordinates on the individual’s F A G memorial to those of the specific gravesite instead of the cemetery. Please let me know if you do NOT want this updated.
