"Feurt" Cemetery
Hi Janice: I believe this cemetery near Franklin Furnace, Ohio, is actually called "Gould Cemetery." To my knowledge, there is only one Feurt Cemetery in Scioto Co., OH and it is located near Rosemount in Clay Twp. I also think your posted photo of the Franklin Furnace cemetery is actually a shot of the Feurt Cemetery in Clay Twp. I happened to see the Feurt cemetery in person years ago and the one depicted in your photo looks pretty much like the one I visited, except that much of the brush and undergrowth had been cut back by the time of your photograph. If you google search "Gould Cemetery" I think you will find supporting evidence. Thanks. Bruce Myers #47425897.

James Mead Headstone photo in Meads cemetery
Hi, I would love to add this headstone photo to my family tree on Ancestry.com with the photo credit to you of course. Please let me know if you object to this or to let me know how you would prefer the photo credit worded. If I do not hear from you , I will assume it is okay to use it. Thanks so much.

He is my husbands 2nd great grand uncle.

I know your loss, I too lost a son, age 35, Kris. Tragic to lose a child , it should not be.

RE: Poetker Cemetery
Thank you for answering. This is the first time that I have been back to check for a message. Do you think that anyone would want photos of the Faulkner gravestones? One gravestone had two children on it because they died on the same day.
Sandy

P.S. These graves were at Daniel Faulkner Cemetery; not Poetker Cemetery.

Janice, I believe the Hamilton Bridges buried at Etna Cemetery to be my 3rd Great Grandfather born in Pennsylvania on 1827 died the 11 April 1910 in Lafayette,Coshocton,Ohio. He lived in Decatur,Lawrence County,Ohio on the 1870 census. May help to fill in the unknown dates of birth and death. I'm looking for Susan Kiser whom married my Great Grandfather James (Giles) Jiles I know James is buried where my father Charles Arthur( Poke) Jiles is. Can't find Susans ( lived in Kentucky) burial have been looking for a couple years. If you happen to come across info would be greatly appreciated. Thank YOU for your work on Find A Grave. Poetker Cemetery
My husband and his cousins are researching the Faulkner Family from Oak Hill, Ohio. We recently moved gravestones from a farmer's land where the original cemetery was ruined. It was the Daniel Faulkner Cemetery and there are four gravestones and there were five graves.

We visited several small cemeteries and took photos last weekend. We are planning on putting the gravestones in C.M. Cemetery with Thomas Jefferson Faulkner and his wife Ida Grashel Faulkner.

Just wondered if you have more information on the Faulkners.

Thank you.

It was my understanding that Jen was cremated. Are some of her cremains interred as well?
