My tombstone photos are free to use. I am following in my grandmother's footsteps in our quest of researching our family history. My husband and I live in Baton Rouge, La. My husband retired from the AF in Valdosta, Ga and I spent sometime taking tombstone photos. I loved traveling to Michigan and North Dakota where my parents grew up and researched our family history and taking photos of the family tombstones.

George W Allen and Jane Doyle
Kathy, I have been researching the Doyle family and George W Allen buried at the Old Center Cemetery in Suffield, CT. Are you any relation? If you don't mind, could you contact me at Kent Memorial Library, Suffield's public library: 860-668-3896. Thank you for your time!-wendy taylor

RE: Photos
Yes, you may use the photos for your report and Ancestry or Family Search record. This is certainly in line with the purpose of taking these photos in the first place and I am honored to have presented you with an acceptable photo!

RE: Allie Freeburn
This was the first time I have seen a missing death date on the stone of a deceased person. But I am new at this volunteer photography business and I am sure I have not seen it all. Yet! So pleased you have her husband's location now, too.

Allie Freeburn
Please note that Allie's year of death has yet to be inscribed on her stone. Also note that I also added Charles Jake (or Jakes Charles) Freeburn who is buried beside her.

RE: Thelma Barger
You are very welcome! (When I was taking more photos at the cemetery this morning, there was a graveside service in the next section over for a woman named Lois Barger. I wonder if that is another relative?)
