David P. Reese
David Philip Reese,Sr., born March 2, 1895, and died December 26, 1865 was my grandmother's first cousin. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Ann Thomas Reese. He was born and died in Scranton. He also is NOT buried in Dunmore Cemetery. He is buried in Washburn St. Cemetery, and has had a memorial page there since August 6, 2006. Please delete the memorial page in Dunmore Cemetery.

Thomas Aston
Hi. I was just at Dunmore Cemetery and had them do some lookups so that I can take photographs of the graves. The only Thomas Aston that they have listed as being buried there, died on September 22, 1911. Is this the same one that you requested? According to the date on the memorial, this one died 1908. Let me know before I pursue ti further.

Thank you for adding the memorial of my 3rd Great Grandfather!! I hope you don't mind, I added a photo of him and also a copy of a death memorial card from our family. Additionally, I have copies of letters he wrote his parents while in the service in Virginia and at the Baltimore National Hospital between Sept 11, 1863 and July 4, 1864. If any family would like to see pictures of these letters I can email them. My email is Elizabeth4568@gmail.com

Also buried in Sunnyside is his daughter Mary Louisa McKinney Dixon Lane who had been married to Charles Tripp Lane.

Thank you for creating this memorial!!
Sincerely,
Elizabeth

Garrety and Wise Photo Requests
Carol,

I was able to fulfill some of your photo requests today, however Joseph Wise has a flat marker which is still covered by snow, I added the upright family Wise marker and will go back later to get his flat marker. The same goes for Joseph Garrety.

Memorial #83164574
The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”

There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at woodlawncem@tds.net to learn the exact location of Edgar Newschwander #83164574, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!

Drummonds
Hi Carol, I was at Greenwood Union Cemetery today and looked for all of the Drummonds that you requested. I have the sections and lots, but was able to find only Frederick and William. I didn't have time to look for Roberta, so she is still on my radar screen.

Brackeen Family
Emblem Cemetery has several Brackeen Family members, in unmarked graves. I have a picture of William C. Brackeen which came from Find a Grave.

I am doing a history of each family in the cemetery and have the original ledger of burials from the beginning of the first burial.

If I can help you, please contact me.

Haddis Jayne / South Eaton Cemetery
Hello Carol,

You have a photo request from 2009 for a "Haddis Jayne" in the South Eaton Cemetery, memorial# 34938697. Is it possible that this person's name was "H. Adis B. Jayne"?

I found and photographed such a stone and it is just to the right of Stanley Jayne. (memorial# 34938704) Unfortunately, the remainder of the stone is unreadable so there is no other corroborating information to go on.

Please let me know if this is the person you are seeking.

Best regards,
Scott

Hi,

I will be going out to Mt Olivet again to get a good photo of the family plot. Unfortunately, when I was there this morning the shadows were horrible.
