I love Ethel!|
Finally done American Mechanics Cemetery..Some of the records were unreadable, some had no names. The person who listed the stones wrote that many of the older ones were broken and unreadable,and some were simple plain wooden crosses so we will never know all who were buried there. But with well over 7,000 names hopefully you can find who you were looking for. If you do find someone, please go to the cemetery home page for the list of cemeteries they were transferred to and contact them. I will gladly change their place of burials or transfer them to you.

|Barbara Calabrese||Transfer Request|
First let me thank you for all your efforts to document the American Mechanic Cemetery. It is such a tragedy that the cemetery is no longer available for us to visit our long lost.
Through genealogy research I have found my 3 times great grand parents Benjamin ( 116360042) and Margareth Vickery (116360024) buried at American Mechanics. If you are not related to them, I would like to respectfully request a transfer of their memorial to me. My Find A Grave membership number is 48169217. If you are related would you be willing to share as we might be related.

Hello....On 12/6/13, you inputted info for Emma Hettich...1935/1937. From research I have done, this is the daughter of Emma Heimach, my mother's sisters. Do you have any contacts for the Hettich family. I'm looking to share info. Thank you so much, Rose O'Rourke

Hi Joyce, I transferred the rest of the folks in George's lot to you on the theory they are all related in some way. Best - rob

Thanks! I was wondering if you have access to plot locations or know how I could get them. There are a lot of stones that aren't legible but if I knew who's they were I could post the photo to the proper memorial.
