PLEASE - remember to only ask for a transfer if you are a direct descendant within the four generation guidelines. Otherwise, please send any information you would like added to a memorial for your aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Thank you.|
As an amateur genealogist with very limited funds, I believe that Find A Grave is an invaluable family history resource! The family names I am avidly researching include these surnames:
Anderson, Braswell, Byers, Dykes, Garrison, Hightower, Horn, Jones, Logan, Mooney, Patillo, Strong, Wiseman
There are many other affiliated names that are too numerous to list. The majority of the memorials I have created on Find A Grave are of my extended family, including numerous allied families.
I have created many memorials from cemetery transcriptions, and from other Find A Grave members' headstone photos. I welcome corrections or additions to these memorials. Please use the Edit tab at the top right of EACH memorial to correct dates, names, or add family links. If you have a question or want to send a bio, please click on 'Suggest any other corrections or additions' while on the 'Edit' page.
Transfers: Please read the Find A Grave FAQ regarding transfers. I do take care of all of the memorials I create, and will happily make edits, corrections, and add links. Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations (see the FAQ). All others please make corrections using the "Edit" tab at the top right of the memorial. Do not use public messages or direct emails as these do not include the necessary links to the memorials and your contributor page.
Reminder: Find A Grave is a collaborative website, so if you see any memorial that needs more information, links, or corrections, please contact the contributor of the memorial to make these changes. Also, check out the Virtual Cemetery feature as the perfect way to keep track of all your family members' memorials.
PS - Please use the Edit tab for ANYTHING regarding memorials that I manage. Public messages and my email address do not include the necessary links to the memorials!

|Elise Reed||Thank you|
Thank you, Cyndi, for transferring my husband's Smith relatives (Lakewood Memorial Park in Henderson, Texas) to me. Also for the suggestion on locating the missing flat marker. We will follow up on that tomorrow. We really appreciate all your efforts and assistance, and wish you all the best!

Thanks for linking Sarah Towles White (Memorial: 63451956) to her father, Albert Towles (141384365). Findagrave is working on Mary Ann Howell Williams’ full name. I have asked them to change it to Mary Ann Howell Towles Williams to reflect the names of both her husbands.
Dr. Albert Towles married Mary Ann Howell (born 9 September 1845 in Chambers County, Alabama died: 10 January 1912 in Flint, Smith County, Texas), daughter of Isaac Howell and Elizabeth Grey, on 7 August 1860 in Chambers County, Alabama, in the home of her father. (Chambers County, Alabama Marriages - Book 5, page 589.)
After the death of Dr. Towles, Mary Ann Howell Towels married Steve Robert (S. R.) Williams on 24 December 1890 (Smith Co, TX Book K, Page 223)
Findagrave has made one change and I think you can now link Sarah Ann “Sallie Towles White (63451956) to her mother, Mary Ann Howell Williams (45366889).
Will you see if you can link 63451956 to her mother, Memorial 45366889?

Thank you for making the edit.
|Ken Abercrombie||RE: Linking spouses|
THANK YOU so much for your hard work. I appreciate your feedback and just want to let you know I am a rookie to all of this. I'll try to be more helpful. NOTE: Polly and Thomas were my grandparents. I spent many wonderful summers with them in Arp,Texas. I remember many trips to relatives and visits to various graveyards to respect and remember our ancestors. The gravemarker for Satsy Anne Simmons Abercrombie (#88946899) was the most memorable as I was 6 years old when I first saw it and it was taller than I was. Respectfully, Ken Abercrombie
|Derek Galbreath||Buford Todd|
Hi you created a memorial for Buford Todd at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Cross Roads, Tx. He isn't an unmarked grave, he has a tombstone with his wife next to him.

|R. L. Vaughn||Clifford Eli Wynne|
Couple of things regarding edits to Clifford and Ida Wynne. I have Susan Idella/Della Durham as the mother of Clifford Eli Wynne, and the person buried in the Kelly Cemetery under the name "Deller". (In my opinion it is "Deller" rather than "Delle F.")
The other must have just been something I did wrong or accidentally. I have Ida Frances Stegall as the wife of Clifford Eli Wynne and wouldn't want them unlinked. Not sure what I did, but I'm sorry about that!
