 | RE: Katie and Idolo Bruno ~ Hi there. I would be more than happy to fulfill more requests for this cemetery. I just ask that if you do not have the location of the grave that you contact the office to get it and post it on the memorial. Most of the larger cemetery's offices get annoyed if they have someone that continuously asks for information which is why I typically shy away from them.
Thank you,

 | Sherba/Smith Hello Pat,
John Sherba was my great-uncle, brother of my grandmother Anna (Sherba) Palkovic. Aunt Alice died shortly after I was born but my mother knew her and speaks very well of her. Do you know anything about the Sherba side of the family through your aunt, or did that connection end when she died?
I never knew my Uncle John Sherba either, though I do know he was a WWII veteran and was seriously wounded during the war. My mother's sister knew a lot about him, but she is in a veterans hospital herself now and not in such good shape...
My grandmother passed away in 2002, and I am trying to trace her parents' towns of origin in Slovakia. My e-mail address is alosaf1 (at) yahoo.com if you want to write back.
Cordially,
Chris | | |
