My name is Paula Nettles. My mama,Helen Estelle Snowden Sikes Ricketson, was adopted by Felix and Ola Sikes. Her birth parents are Jim and Annie Knight Snowden Shiver. Dempsey Snowden was her Granddaddy. I saw on the Cornhouse Creek Cemetery site that you added him, his wife and daughter. Could you please let me know if Jim, her birth daddy, is buried by them. Also, another interesting fact about the Maddox family. My cousin, Raymond Howell told me that I might be related on that side, sort of. My great grandparents on my Dad's side were Wade T. and Emily E. (Wilson) Davis. My great grandmother was pregnant with my grandfather, Harvey Thomas Davis, when my great grandfather, Wade, was killed. She remarried when my grandfather was 4 years old to a William Maddox. This was is Fayette County, Georgia. William Maddox would have been my step great grandfather. He might have been related to the Maddox people from my Aunt Elizabeth's side of the family.
