Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm Stay At Home Mom to seven wonderful children. I was born and raised in North Carolina, but moved to Central Oklahoma 5 years ago. Findagrave has been a lifesaver, since all my folks are buried back East. My current project is to recanvas the Davenport, OK Cemetery, along with my own personal family history and indexing and arbitrating for Family Search. I take volunteer photos when I can. I have loved forging links with my ancestors and feel it a privilege to help others do the same.

Some of my family lines include Bishop, Ledbetter, Lee, Donaldson, Creswell, Byers, Gayle, Hull, Castleberry, Brewton, most of whom are from and around North and South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.

I've recently involved my children in our searching, cleaning of stones and photography. My good friend Sarah has been a great help.

If I've posted a photo of your loved one, feel free to use that photo for genealogical purposes and please give credit to me and to findagrave.

Jerry Martin Keener

Wanted to thank you for posting the picture of Jerry's tombstone. Just recently got involved in family history so I am a complete beginner and I appreciate your help. Are you related at all to Jerry or Mellvina? Jerry and Mellvina are my husband's great, great grandparents and I am so happy to be finding little particles of their lives. Again thank you.

RE: Robert Ray Bishop Memorial #93047949
Hello Jenifer,
I am glad you liked the new photos and yes you may use the photos I have added for Robert Ray Bishop and his wife Lois. I have 14 Bishops that I have created memorials for in Jacksonville. At Evergreen Cemetery there is one I created for a Bishop that was born in 1864. Find a Grave can get a little bit addicting, but it is a good addiction, I think, my wife may not agree. Good luck on your searches and God bless.

RE: Robert Ray Bishop Memorial #93047949
Hello Jenifer,
I made a trip to Arlington Park Cemetery this morning and the date of death has been added for Lois Bishop (Aug.31, 2013). I created a memorial for her and linked her to her husband Robert. I added some more photos to her memorial and Robert's.

RE: Robert Ray Bishop Memorial #93047949
Hello Jenifer,
The inscription for Robert Ray Bishop is on a mausoleum that is located at the veterans section at Arlington Park. The marker beneath his is inscribed Lois Bishop with a date of birth but did not have a date of date when I took my photo but that was over a year ago. I will check to see if there is a date of date inscribed on the mausoleum now. I visit Arlington Park Cemetery fairly often. My parents are buried there.

RE: Miles R Mixson grave photo
I have been off the radar for taking pics in the cemeteries. I am sorry I haven't replied. You can have any pictures for your use. It is a pleasure to help others find headstones. If there is anything you need let me know.
