Hello everyone - I live in Huron County, Ohio, have three living children, and one deceased as a baby (SIDS). I love genealogy and have been doing it for at least 25 years. Barbara Kane Kolanda|
TRANSFERS: With any findagrave memorial that I maintain, if you are a closer relative than I, I will transfer. If I have no connection and you have some connection (even friendship), I will transfer.
Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery.
A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
It has been said that every person has three deaths.
The first is the actual physical death, when the spirit leaves the body.
The second is when the body is lowered into the grave, never again to be seen in the flesh.
The third and final death comes much later, when all who knew that person have joined him in the afterlife, and the name, even the existence of that person, vanishes from knowledge.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear this. I will certainly let you know if there are others. F.A.G. has recently lost a number of long-time members. All those memorials remain in limbo unless F.A.G. transfers them. Which, typically, they don't do. I'll have a look at your list and let you know. Please get better!

wow... thank you! I didn't expect this. Just read your BIO. Re: Death #3: They will all live on, because you and I took the time to make it so. And this is OUR legacy. I promise to take good care of Henry, Mable, Ann & Agnes Clark. cheers!

Question: Maybe you can answer this question and maybe not - I had a cousin, Gladys Guettler (1910-1983) of Fremont, Ohio who was married to a John L. Rutan (her sister, Delores Guettler, was married to his brother George Rutan). Do you know whether the couple got a divorce before his death in 1962 for I see he was married to Lydia?
|Sherri||RE: Chris & Sarah Shine|
I'm so happy I could help. I had to add a memorial for Frank Shine, who was also listed on the marker.

|Debbie Lemaster-Gahn||William Floyd - Flood|
William Floyd memorial#73502082 is my 4th great grandfather. They have his name wrong. It should be Flood not Floyd as can be seen in his Revolutionary War Pension File.
If you would like I can maintain this memorial.
P.S. There is also a duplicate of the grave memorial #107589126. Don't know how this can be corrected.
|Jim Simonis||RE: Maria Pahl|
Maria Pahl is a Simonis. I'm happy to manage her memorial if it's okay with you.

I will be in the Green Springs area in couple weeks & I will run by the cemetery and check to see if she is buried there. It looks as if Ralph only has a single grave marker.
