I keep a record of burials in a local cemetery, in which I have 6 generations buried in. As genealogy has been my hobby for about 45 years, I have been interested in cemeteries and visited many.|

Sue, thank you so much for your wonderful work, I was so excited to see this on findagrave. the number of Hattie is 103058374. I wondered if you could make a small correction, her mother is Roxanne (Roxy) Flanagan. Thanks so much!! Ann

I will check it out. I can't believe I've never noticed it. It just seemed unlikely, knowing that their headstone was purchased and placed, many years before either died. I've talked to both of the remaining daughters and neither remembers anyone ordering or placing the military stone! a little mystery I guess. Thanks for the response and also the great work you do documenting these.

Hello.. You have photographed my grandparents' gravesite at the Van Alstyne Texas cemetery, and you show an Army headstone for my grandfather Henry Isaac Gandy. I was wondering where is that headstone at? I haven't been out to the cemetery recently but have never noticed that in the past. So I'm intrigued where you ran across that? There couldn't be two Henry Isaac Gandy's could there? lol. My grandparents pre-bought their double-headstone many years before they died, and I can't think of why or when there would have been an additional (Army) headstone. (The information on it is correct however.) Thank you for any information you have. Christopher Vermillion
Thank you for your time and effort in obtaining and publishing the photos of the Trammell family marker!
Have a blessed day!
