I was born in Lansing and have lived here most of my life. My Lott ancestors came from Germany in the mid-1800's (most settled in the Holt, MI area). There are a lot of Lotts in mid-Michigan that have been in the USA since before the Revolutionary War. Hence I am not related to them as far as I can tell. I have been playing around in genealogy since the mid-1980's.
