PLEASE REQUEST TRANSFERS.... If you are related and can enhance the memorial by adding additional information, please request transfer, giving me your relationship. No "name collector" transfers please. |
IMPORTANT: If sending information to add, please give source of information. Without sources, sorry, but changes will not be made. With new quick edits, this is still important. Unless evident on memorial, please use the other suggestion and include source.
We've searched many graveyards, seen stones that were in such disrepair, and wondered what would happen to them as time marched on. This site is a wonderful way to preserve, if not the actual stone, at least a replica for future genealogists.
If you have taken better gravestone photos that what we have posted, please post yours and send a message - we will review and delete our if appropriate.
Happy graving to all!
---Bill & Linda

|Jack Gilchrist||James and Oella Scott|
Thank you for the info about the divorce of James and Oella in 1933. I have made the updates to capture this and removed James' Find A Grave memorial from Westminster Memorial Gardens, etc.
Your efforts to help me get the history right for my aunt's parents are most appreciated.
Thanks so much for filling my photo requests!

I didn't scroll down far enough on my new messages. Again, thanks for transferring management, this time for Joseph Adams' wife, Ellen.

Thanks for the edits and then for the surprise of turning over management to me.
As always a pleasure.
Hope you and Peggy Duey have been having a good meet up.

Thank you so much for finding that death certificate. No one in the family ever spoke of a second infant child! The parents are my grandparents, and the child was a late-in-life conception. Now I'd like to find the death certificate for the first child born and died in 1899.
I was born at Westminster just west of Carlisle. The family had been in the Cumberland/Perry County area since c 1790 and before that from Bucks County back to the early 1700s. They were Germanic Swiss.
Thank you for all the volunteer work you've done. FindAGrave is a genealogy in itself and has revolutionized free on-line genealogy.
|Jeffrey McLane||Plainfield Cemetery, Seitz|
Hi I was at Plainfield this past weekend and took photos of the Seitz Headstone, I have linked them and was wondering if they are kin. If they are you are welcome to the photos and maintaining the sites. Good luck
