|Hello! I've added many of my relatives on this site plus many others of people that I personally knew or was acquainted with at some time. I hope I'm not offending anyone when I add their loved one. And if I have added one of your relatives that you would like to be transferred to you, I will gladly do so. I'm not in this to see how many memorials I can accumulate. I just want to create one in honor of the person who lived. Also, all gravestone pics I add to memorials can be printed off. But, please do not sell the pics as they are copyrighted. I do not charge anyone any money for takings the pics. I volunteer my own time when I am available and there is no charge to the requester whatsoever. Findagrave just request these pics to not be scanned/copied & out on other websites, so please adhere to that. When I joined FAG in 2012, FAG did not send me any instructions of what to not put on memorials. Hence, I had some 15 to 20 years of obits (around 300) that I personally knew, was acquainted with, or knew the family in some way & had added them to memorials already started. In the spring of this year I was informed by 2 different ladies that I could not put them on this website. So, I immediately started taking off as many as I could remember. I know I didn't get them all as after putting them on, I donated all of those obits to our local library for them to put in a book. If you feel you need to contact FAG administer because I have violated the rule, please feel free to do so as I feel they can scan my 3400 memorials faster than I can to see if any more of them need to be taken off. What good is this website if you can only get a picture of a tombstone of a relative you are looking for and not any more genealogical info? Newcomers to FAG need to be sent a copy of the regulations regarding the input of memorials on here. In the meantime, I don't feel any regret of already having added over 20,000 photos to FAG in the past 14 months to help people out from traveling all over the place like I had to do when I first started genealogy in 1994. FAG, also, needs a "No Tombstone" symbol so that when you photo a whole cemetery & know beyond the shadow of a doubt that there is no tombstone, it can be posted so that other photo volunteers won't be sent out for nothing. Also, you can put obit info in the bio section but FAG rules state not to list survivors unless you have permission from the family. I'm sure this is due to identity theft worries.|

Hey I had a duplicate of Anton Shimek at Green Lawn. I save the photo if you don't have your original to post to the original memorial.

I don't know why Find A Grave would object because they wouldn't have any of this info unless they had volunteers who take photos, add obits and information. I have had just a couple of complaints from people about me adding to my public tree and I have since been giving credit to the contributors to the Find A Grave network. If we can't share photos (which I have added plenty) and family information, how can we complete our trees.
Always be kind, generous and the good will follow.
All of my grandparents died before I was born, my Mother was orphaned at an early age and my father died when I was 12. Not enough information was passed on and I was not curious about my ancestors until I was older. Thank you again for your wonderful contributions!

Thank you so much for the photos. My great grandmother Luduska Griggs-Harris is the sister of Valencourt/Valincourt. She named my grandfather David Valencourt Harris. This will be such a great addition to my family tree!

The contributor who created the memorial is the only one who can delete it. I asked Mary to transfer it back to you so it can be deleted. Hope it works.
Happy New Year to you to. Hard th believe that January is almost gone.

The one you made and added a photo to is a duplicate at the Salem cemetery at Foster. But you transferred yours so I don't know how to fix this.
Thank you for looking for her marker. I have added a not to the memorial that the grave appears to not be marked. I appreciate your work and contributions to Find-A-Grave.
