I am a retired veteran and genealogist. I work on Fort Knox so I have opportunities to visit some cemeteries on post and in Hardin County, KY.
If you would like to have a memorial transferred to you, please let me know by using the Edit tab and sending me a note.
Please feel free to use any of my photographs for your personal use. I go to cemeteries and take headstone pictures so family researchers can find the ancestors. If you use my photographs and post them on any for-profit web sites (ex, Ancestry.com, etc), please give me credit.
Bonnie Floretta Carter Benton Hi Mr. Richards., Thank you much for your time in volunteering as you took headstone pictures posted to Bonnie Floretta Carter Benton daughter of William Calvin Carter and Annie Cleveland Carter. She was born in Jackson County Tennessee near Granville., they left Jackson County TN to Davidson County ( Old Hickory working for DuPont). While visiting relatives in Nashville TN SpringHill I took headstone pictures. Those being her parents, some siblings
I appreciate your time to assist researchers related to her, she indeed from a very large family. Ironically, How research discoveries turn out. One of her sister's married a Holmes and discovered I went to elementary, high school knowing of her grandchildren going to school with us.
RE: OOPS! I'm sure she would love the story. You can send it to my email email@example.com. She has a lot of military history in her family so I know it would be of interest. Thanks so much. And thanks for your work on the cemeteries in KY. Glad someone is working on them. Mary
RE: Edward N. Switzer Chances are she did. She grew up in So Cal. Her name is Diane Challis. I have ancestors from KY that have bee my brick wall until recently. Early 1800's in KY is hard to track records. Best, Mary
