Bio Photo Hello,

My name is Paula Jackson. I am the mother of 2 wonderful children and a wife to a great hubby. I love animals (I have 4 cats and a dog), reading, writing stories, playing games, photography and bowling but most of all I love doing research and genealogy work.

I have been doing genealogy research, both for myself and professionally, since 1997. I have been a member of F-A-G for over a year but only recently (April 2011) have had the time and opportunity to become a serious volunteer. I think F-A-G is a wonderful place and my pledge is to help as many people as I can in getting pictures of stones. Even though I live in Owen County, I am willing to go to the counties that surround me which are: Clay, Greene, Monroe and Parke. I spend a lot of time each day putting up memorials, researching at the library and online for information to add to memorials and 2-3 days a week trying to fill photo requests. At times, it gets frustrating but mostly it is rewarding work.

The one big frustation I have with this site is the fact that the administerators hardly ever respond to my questions. I always ask a lot of questions in anything I do because I like to learn about things. However, the powers-to-be don't feel the need to answer my questions. How can I learn and improve my skills if they don't answer my questions? :(

7-1-12: Also, I hate it when the administrators feel the need to accuse me of doing something I DID NOT DO. I was just accused of stealing pictures. I did not and would not so this. I go out and take MY OWN pictures. My husband and kids will tell you this is true as they are usually with me when I take the pictures. It is unfair to be accused of something that I did not do and I am upset about it. It would be nice to be asked about something instead of being accused!!!! :(

Anyway, I will gladly transfer memorials if they aren't part of my family. Please send me an email with any request you have. My address is psj_4@yahoo.com. I check my email often and will make corrections as soon as I can. One thing I ask if there is an obituary or information that I have added to the memorial, PLEASE be courteuos and leave it there along with credit of me as the one who added it. I spend a lot of hours at the library hand-copying obituaries then typing them up. I also spend a lot of time researching on ancestry.com. I really don't like the idea of my hard work being in vain. Thank you! :)

If you have time, please take a moment to visit my memorial for my mother Marjorie Shear. Thank you!!

Also please visit Baby Herschell. This baby has no family to tend to its grave. I found the grave overrun by weeds. My husband and I cleaned up the area and will continue to keep it nice. If you would leave a flower for him/her I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Also if you could leave flowers for Bryan Haltom it would be greatly apprecaited. He was murdred at the age of 18 and the crime is still unsolved. Please read his story. Thank you!

Also, a visit to my memorial for PFC Brett Wood would also be appreciated. This young man died while fighting for our country. Thank you!

Also please visit these famous people whom f-a-g won't give credit to:

1. Cinematographer--Lauron Draper

2. Poet--William Herschell

3. Boxer--Ace Hudkins

4. Actor--Elderidge "Kit" Carson

5. Actor--John David Carson

6. Conductor--Dino Anagnost.

Thank you for your kindness, take care, God Bless You and happy hunting!! :o)

Such a pleasure meeting you, Paula!

You're most welcome - no thanks is necessary. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I enjoyed visiting your precious pets. Thanks for the love and care you provided for them.

Fondly, Suse
