Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This does not include Cousins, Aunts or Uncles. Nor does it include your neighbor or BFF.|
"The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
Jim Tipton, Find A Grave creator.
I will be the first one to go out of his way to help you out any way I can. I am more than happy to make additions, corrections or to transfer memorials to you providing it falls within the Find a Grave guidelines. Common courtesy would dictate that a "please" and a "Thank you" would be in order and much appreciated by myself. Treat me as you would like to be treated. I will work WITH you but I don't work FOR you. Ingratitude, rudeness as well as demands will put you at the bottom of my "To do" list.

|David D||Jack Eason at Machpelah Cem, Oakland County, MI|
Hi Michael, I am fairly certain that "your" Jack Eason was the son of John Eason and Herma (nee Kiple) born on 26 October 1917 at Valparaiso, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University in 1940, married Jane Holmes at Indianapolis on 23 May 1941, and was serving in the US Navy in 1943. I am interested in knowing whether his headstone shows his military service. btw way his brothers, Dick Eason (5 April 1924 - 17 May 2008) and James S Eason (1926 - 16 June 2010)also served in WWII, both as Marines. Dick was also a Master-Sgt in the US Army during the Korean War. Dick is buried at Gallatin, Tennesee and James at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaios where their parents are in repose. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org as to whether Jack Eason has a Veteran's marker.

I just posted the information for my husband, Bob Wilson who passed away on July 2. I didn't realize that you had already put his information on there. You are really quick! I would appreciate it if you would transfer the listing of his burial information to me. Thank you so much, and I do appreciate your making sure that he was included on Find A Grave! Diane Wilson

Michael, I am trying to find birth/death dates for the above Royal Norwegian Air Force man, who married my paternal grandmother Eva Rosalie Packer, nee Hall in London in 1943. Can you help me please? Martin.
|Barbara ST||Meyer Weingarten Beth Olem|
No, I don't want you to delete that info at all. It was because of the info you put up there that I was finally able to make a connection between him to my family. I was just curious where your found the info and now you've answered my question.
Thank you so much for doing this,
|Barbara ST||question about Memorial# 46322314|
Meyer Weingarten, buried in Beth Olem cemetery in Hamtramck MI, may be my great great uncle, so I was really glad to find your memorial for him. The grave marker is so old, that it looks like the Hebrew inscription, which provides info such as father's name, is completely worn away. So I was wondering where you found this info on the text side:
"married and parents Gilbert Weingarden b/Russia, Mother Abbie Staler b/Russia. Meyer was a milkman and Jose Breaman was informant."
The reason I'm so interested in the source is that the last name of his mother is what may link him to my family.

There was no place to put a "Please" or a "Thank You" in my pieces of information.
I clicked on the tabs for the memorial and filled in the correct information.
The emails are automatically triggered from that process.
However, just so you'll know, I hope you will "please" maintain the memorials and "Thank You" in advance.
Just added Florence DeKosky. If you want ownership let me know.
