Will do thanks for your reply. How are you related to Leland?

Mitchell Family Tree
I understand you will be leaving the site soon.

Before you do...any information on Leland Joseph Mitchell married to Anna Belle Hoffpauir. His obituary lists four out of five of his sons; the fifth whom he conceived illegitimately with a young mulatto named Beulah. The son (my grandfather) is Robert Joseph Mitchell born August 8,1930. Beulah and the child were sent away to Port Arthur, Texas.

Hoping to get more insight if possible

RE: Memorial # 21492236
I don't have the death cert. But it is possible that Ida was married to the two brothers. Sidney's first wife died in 1910. He died in 1923, 13 years later. Isma's first wife died in 1921 a couple of years before Sidney. Ida could have been married to Sidney after his first wife died and then married the brother when Sidney died. Although I have no proof of this.

Never mind, I'm just not going to let her email bother me - life's too short for that...

Thanks for all of your help with the memorials - please let me know when you see things that are missing or that need changed... Anita

Thanks for the additional information on Pierre and his wives. I wasn't familiar with his second wife, but was able to find some information on her and added a memorial & link her to her father as well. If you get a minute, please look at it and let me know if anything should be added #142856827.

Also, out of curiosity, would you let me know what you think about the message from Cathy Cadd? She's really irate that I have Francoise Fournier listed as Francoise Fournier Hebert (married name). It's the same way everyone else has entered the names, so it's consistent. I'm not going to answer her again since I already posted a message on her page, in answer to the fun email that she sent.

I guess my question is do you think that I should not enter the females with their husbands names?

Thanks for the other suggestions - those have been taken care of as well... It really is amazing out these lines are intermingled, isn't it (I have the same thing in my family)? I put a purple cross on the memorials that are my direct line and then the pink cross on those that are cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.

Thank you so much for letting me know - she's the daughter of Etienne Hebert and Jeanne Comeau. I've corrected that now... Thanks again, Anita
