I love history and genealogy. I know I want to be remembered when I pass someday, and I want others to be as well. I am not a native Montanan and this is my way of 'contributing' to my living 'the good life' in Montana.|
So much family history is there as well. I am getting to see the state.

Susan, just wanted to thank you for William's transfer as well as the headstone pics you posted. I was a long time looking for this 2x great uncle of mine and was very surprised to find him in Montana. Greatly appreciated. Helena
Susan: Many times I use Chronicling America (which requires no subscription) and Ancestry (I have a subscription). Many times I happen on obits/articles when I am searching for something else. I appreciate you adding those I send as they will be helpful to family researchers as well as adding interest to the memorials.

Although his tombstone reads birth as 1873, he was born in 1870. His sister Mary Ann was born in 1873.
Mr. and Mrs. Murrill have reared three sons and two daughters: Constantine Briggs, born February 17, 1870; George Riley, born August 27, 1871; Mary Ann, born September 2, 1873; Daisy May, born November 9, 1876, and Ross Perkins, born November
8, 1878. Mr. Murrill has served on the school board of this district for many years, and he and wife are members of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Source: Goodspeed's 1889 History of Texas Co., MO.
