Bio Photo My Father was a Barnard and my mother a Tennant. Both from WV with Barnard ties to Westernport MD.

I am loving my new hobby and finding I have a knack for the genealogy thingy too! Any photos I take you are welcome to use in your history files, trees and such. I am so blessed to be able to help others as Find-a-Grave and Ancestry have helped me find the "lost" branch of my family.

I am finding photos on a web site pagenweb that I learned of on FindAGrave. I am matching request to that site. So I actually did not take the picture. Sorry it was not larger, they probably wanted to show information.

Linnie Gross
I believe the wife of Linnie is the memorial I originally linked to him. They are both buried at Maplewood Cemetery in West Virginia. My research shows this is his wife. Please unlink your memorial as this couldn't be his wife. I have sent the edit.

RE: Rachel
Thanks for letting me know about the cemetery plot. One of the 3 burials prior to 1895 must have been her husband Henry (who died 1881). The other two were probably children that died young. It's disappointing about the tombstones, but given the family's financial situation it's not too surprising. How does your neighbor fit in? I am a descendant of Henry and Rachel's daughter Rachel (1862-1926) who married Charles Dilliplane.
