Bio Photo This is my Graveyard assistant. He keeps all the free-roaming spirits entertained while I take the pictures.
There are so many old cemeteries in this part of NC so we are trying to post as many interments as possible to help all you researchers out. Also, most of the stones they used for markers in the 1800's are not standing up to the elements very well so it's a race against time to get as many pictures as possible. If you are looking for more NC relatives, I am working with the team of volunteers at cemeterycensus.com. They have surveyed and taken pictures of a ton of cemeteries in central NC.

One of the most popular questions I get emailed is asking permission to use "my" photos. The short answer is yes, you can use any pictures I have taken. I don't require references or accreditation because that's not why I joined the website and volunteer to take photos. I don't consider them my property unless you use them to somehow make millions of dollars (then I'd appreciate a small kickback) :)

Actively working on Oakwood cemetery in Mebane, NC. I've done two of the largest sections so it looks like it's all downhill now!

Look at you guys! Since Findagrave has gone to the new edit system you all have sent me 4,639 edits & corrections. Keep up the great work!

RE: find a grave
I'll have to go back and check but I thought you had a photo on that page of his marker. I will recheck. Off to bed tonight. Thanks. Nancy

C.F. Clapp 32057967
Please look at C.F. "Butch" Clapp--32057967 and Charles Floyd Clapp--32057981 both at Alamance Memorial Park. Could they be the same? I am trying to link parents to a recent memorial for C. Wade Clapp d.4-26-2015. Obit at Rich & Thompson. Wife of Charles Floyd was Beatrice Murray Clapp--32057966. Thanks, Peggy
