Welcome to my page on Find A Grave!|
Find A Grave is just that. A grave and cemetery data site. We record graves, and cemeteries. Majority of the graves I record are based on the headstones. I always welcome further information for any memorial.
I am a Find A Grave Photo Volunteer. Please let me know if there is one in my area that you are looking for.(Dent, Crawford, Texas, or Phelps Counties in Missouri)
You may use any of my photos without further permission.
I have no problem making transfers of the memorials I am not related to. I am not related to most of them. I welcome suggestions, corrections and additions. The easiest way is thru the Suggest a Correction tab at the top of the memorial you would like to have either transferred, edited, corrected or just to contact me.
I check my e-mail around once a week. I will get all corrections made, or I will contact you to as why I can't.
Please make use of the Virtual Cemetery Option we have to gather friends and families.
I love to use the Virtual Cemetery option we have. I am currently making a Virtual Cemetery of Titanic Survivors and Victims. If you run across a memorial that could be added to my Titanic Virtual Cemetery, please let me know.
I have also started a September 11, 2001 Virtual Cemetery.
Both of these Virtual Cemeteries are labors of love, honor and respect.
Note: I had almost 500 memorials transferred to me from a member who no longer wanted to volunteer. This is why the numbers are so different from my added to managed.

|Helen McDarment||Campbell and Dobbs families|
While researching for info on my Campbell and Dobbs families, I found your photo of the Keysville, Missouri cemetery. My families lived in that area during the 1880-1890's. I saw the names of two family members listed buried in the Keysville Cemetery but one of the names is incorrect and other info given is incorrect. One family member is Sarah Jane Campbell Dobbs. She is listed as Sarah Jane Dobbs Campbell. Other info about her states she was first married to the Rev. W.T. Campbell and later to the Rev. G.W. Dobbs. She was only married to the Rev. G.W. Dobbs. The Rev. W.T. Campbell was her younger brother. The date listed for her death is that of her mother Sarah A. Campbell Dobbs. I have info that gives 1893 as Sarah Jane's death. Sarah A. Campbell (Sarah Jane's mother) married Henry S. Dobbs in 1850; Sarah Jane Campbell married Henry's son George Washington Dobbs in 1855. Do you have photos of her grave and the grave of the infant son of the Rev. J.P. Campbell? The Rev. J.P. Campbell was a brother of Sarah and W.T. I have contacted the woman who posted the info. She answered my original request but said she needed to check records and she hasn't contacted me since. That was several months ago. Any assistance you can provide me will be appreciated. Helen McDarment
I was wondering if you would transfer the memorial of Violet Mae Wiesehan Conway to me (if you're not related to her). She is my grandma. Thanks! -Megan

By switching my parents memorials to my care can I then correct the spelling of my mother's name ?
If so then it's ok to switch.
Thank you for your help,
Carl E. Gibbs Jr.
|Gloria Tune||RE: Jonathan Tune photo|
Well, it's been a year now.....hard to believe. I was looking again at the Missouri Tunes & wondered if you ever got a rubbing of the gravestone for Jonathan Tune, Find A Grave Memorial# 36823866.
You'd submitted a photo back on 09/11/2011, and last year said you were going out to do some rubbings, so I just wanted to check back in.
My how time flies!
Gloria J. Tune
|William Lewis Martin||RE: Amanda Martin|
No problem, I am related to her through her husband Lewis Martin.
Have a good day

You recently left a flower for Mary Ellen Shutt and I wanted to say Thank You! I have tried to have Find a Grave recognize her as a famous person but they say that she does not meet their requirements.
I have resubmitted her for consideration again and I was hoping that you would re-visit her page and give her a fame rating. If enough people vote, maybe it will change the minds of the folks at Find a Grave.
Please click here Mary Ellen Shutt to take you directly to her page.

Thanx for the photo of my cousin Patty.
|Shelly ||Levi and Isabella Michael|
I know its been a while but a while ago you uploaded the pic for Isabella and Levi Michael's headstone. I believe I have the wrong cemetery listed for them but wanted to double check before I change anything and check where it was taken. Was the photo from the Pinson cemetery in Crawford mo? I want to be accurate! Thank you!
