Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. We collect, glassware, vintage jewelry, Cowboy Collectables, and dust. We love Flea Markets, Country Auctions, and long highway yard sales.

I started Find a Grave as a Photo Volunteer and decided that was too hard. I started photographing the entire cemetery, this way I could add them to the Computer at the Research Center and put them on Find a Grave also.

I walk the Cemeteries and take the photographs of the memorials I put on Find a Grave. I do not set at the computer and put memorials on in another state that I have no intention of putting a photograph on with it. I do not do this for the numbers, I do it to help others.

I will have to add to the above and say this winter I have been going through our county Cemetery Books and Creating new Cemeteries and making memorials for the ones buried in Family Cemeteries. It has been interesting to find them on Census records and connect them. I will try and locate the cemeteries and make a picture if I can. Sometimes the older family Cemeteries do not exist anymore. I did not want to add memorials that I could not add a picture. I decided that these people did not deserve to be forgotten, thus said here's hoping I can find a picture to add to the memorials. Keeping our County as up to date as possible.

I believe family should be with family. I make mistakes, I am human, just be nice when you let me know. It is not my intention to make duplicates, but names, initials, nicknames are not all known, and I gave up mind reading a few years ago. I try to correct, link or transfer as fast as I can. I do not believe it takes two months to type a few numbers.

I have spent months deleting obituaries and pictures from my memorials. If you find one please let me know about it so I can delete the obit or picture. FAG does not want Obits or pictures due to the Copyright law. I do not want my account closed from breaking their rules. You can read that for yourself in the Q and A on your contributors page.

I believe in God, Family and Country. If this offends you, I am sorry. This is a short bio of me.

God Bless you and
God Bless the United States of America

Links in Muhlenberg County

I also use the Owensboro obits. In addition, I have access to Ancestry and find many who do not have stones by finding their death certificates. The death certificates (1852-1953) usually tell the place of burial but is not always accurate. I find lots of information on Ancestry by looking at the KY Birth Index 1911-1999 and the KY Death Index 1911-2000. Ancestry also has birth and death records starting in 1852 but the years vary from county to county. I often find birth dates for men born 1872-1900 on the WW1 Draft Registration. The records often give their place of birth also. I use Family Search too. I find Muhlenberg County marriages on the USGenweb. I have copied all the cemetery books for Muhlenberg County and that helps a great deal.

I have probably told you about my connections to Muhlenberg County. My mother was born and raised there and we still have family there and visit every 2-4 months. Her parents were Franklin and Velma Alexander who are buried at Rose Hill.

Cemetery pics
I had hopes of visiting some cemeteries this summer but not sure it will happen. Won't be having surgery yet but I have scoliosis, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, ddd with 4 bad disc in my back and 2 bad disc in my neck so my back causes me some bad pain.

Luther Whitehouse
In the edit you sent regarding Luther it sounds as if you have a picture of his stone on his memorial but there is none. I'm not sure what you were asking.

RE: Memorial #97287809
Thanks for the offer to transfer. Actually they are so distantly related that I'm not even interested in being the owner. Thanks again.

Memorial #97287809
Here I am again. Would you please add to your memorial whatever information you need from my #97287809. My memorial was made first, but you have him in the correct cemetery, so I think it belongs to you.
Please let me know when to delete mine. Thanks.
