I'm a retired Medical Assistant. I was born in Los Angeles, CA, raised in Reno, NV, and then spent many years of my life in Southern CA where my husband was a professor for many years. After retiring, we moved to Washington state, out in the Islands, and love it. |
I've been interested in Genealogy for about 15 years now, and have been actively searching since then for any/all information I could find regarding my family. Find A Grave has been a god-send...the information posted here, including pictures, has helped me so much, and I'm sure all of you also. Thank you to FIND A GRAVE, and to each and every one of you who has been a contributor to this worthwhile project. It is with reverance that I have searched these files for family/friends that are long gone. It's good to see them noted here, where their families can find them again, and others can pay their respects. Every life is precious, and their stories need to be told.

Yes you can use the photo, and any others that I may have taken. I am not related to Rev. Parsons so I transferred his memorial to you.

Hi Linda, yes, you may use the photo's, and for his wife and child also. "Thank you" for being considerate and asking. As I am not family, would you like the memorials transferred to you? Regards, Nadeen

Hi Linda: Thanks so much for your kind request. I am the 'keeper' of this page, but someone else did the writeup. I would be glad to have you use the information. Please note on the writeup, she is really at Burial Hill, NOT Coles Hill. I've written to the person who posted the photo of Coles Hill a couple times to get the photo removed, but it's still there. Have been able to get quite a few of the ancestor's pages transferred to me, so if you come across my name again in your search, please feel free to use the info as well. Your distant cousin, Nancy

Thank you Linda.
I spent some time I West Virginia over the past two years checking out various cemeteries for members of the Riggs and Braden families.
Unfortunately, I had no information regarding the burial site for Marcella. I only put her on Find A grave to show her relationship in the John B Riggs family, but I stated "burial unknown."
I will continue to search. If I come across anything, which indicates her place of burial, I will pass it on.
I also checked out the National Archives a couple of years ago regarding John B Riggs. I not only came across some important information, but also much that was not.
If you are interested, I am willing to share what I fund.
Take care, Silvia
