 | RE: Dela Wells 33583496 No worries. You are so great about taking the time to correct. Besides... you are not the first to have a photo look one way only to have it go into Find A Grave in a different direction. Bugs are everywhere, even in the phones. grins. | |

 | Dela Wells 33583496 The photo you added to her memorial is sideways. Thank you so much for your time and effort to fix it. | |

 | Francis Herring @ Forest Park I see you added a picture request for Francis Herring @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.
Thank you, Cecil Vaden Jr Find A Grave # 46998439

 | Mollie Newman Thank you for this photo and for going out on a bleak day to take it. May I copy your photo into a private tree on ancestry.com, giving you credit?

 | Albian Blout Oops hit the wrong key...It is possible that she is listed on the back of another stone. I did not put that picture on there so not for sure. I tried to find her husband and where he might be buried but found no death cert. Albian is listed on the 1880 census and then is dead by 1881. He is listed on the 1930 cenus with a different wife. I will keep looking and let you know if I found anything. Good luck. Janet | |

 | RE: Blunt You're quite welcome. According to the Adopt-A-Confederate website (http://www.mdscv.org/1388/adopt-a-confederate/Adopt_a_Confederate_Roster_Only1.htm), the name is George W. Blunt, but that definitely doesn't look like a "W". I'll have to look again next time I go to see if the first letter is a "C" or "G".
You will also notice on the Adopt-A-Confed website that Blunt's grave is listed as "Adopted". This usually means that someone has donated money to obtain and install a nicer, more legible, and longer-lasting stone. However, there was no such stone at this site. If you believe this is the person you are looking for you might want to contact Adopt-A-Confed and find out the status of the new stone.Added by Candeux on Jan 05, 2013 11:30 AM | |
