Bio and Links
Hi FINDAGRAVERS. Love researching. Especially family names like WALKER, RILEY, CRAIL, WATKINS, ASHURST, PURDY, BERRY, WILSON, BATES, POWELL, DAY, LINTON, RANDOLPH, LEWIS, WARNER, TALIAFERRO, THORTON, VINING and many earlier links. I am willing to transfer to relatives of someone within 3 generations but not of my own family listings and their ancestors.I don't get to get online very often so my response is not as often as I would like. Thank you for info you may share and your patience. Good Gravehunting!

Jane Locke Hermins Berry
She married Nathaniel Drake in 1655 in Rye, NH after William Berry died in 1654. So Jane Locke Hermins Drake would be the whole name. I have been reading a death date of about 1687 in Portsmouth, NH.

ELIZABETH READE
Kaaren,

You thanked me for sponsoring ELIZABETH READE's memorial page, but it is I that must thank you for the time and effort that you put into Find A Grave. I look at the cost of sponsorship of my ancestors memorial pages, just as a repayment of what Find A Grave gives to me.

My thanks to you and all of the great people I have encountered within the Find A Grave family and who have allowed me to have a better connection to my ancestors.

Jane Hart Vining (Memorial# 12888772)
Kaaren,

I came across a photo that may be of Jane Vining, wife of William H. Vining. It was taken by Frank DeMars who took photos in the Litchfield County, Connecticut area around the time she would have been alive. It is labeled "Mrs. William H. Vining" and can be seen on this website http://www.demarsimages.com/Portraits/Women/12241478_32J4tD#!i=1155145622&k=66R7HsN

Cheers,

Jessica Crawford

Stephen Bonar
Karen,

We found Stephen Bonar's stone and I've added it. Just thought you'd want to know. It's faint, but in good shape for it's age.

Center Cemetery and Crail Farm Cemetery???
I'm doing some research on cemeteries in the Beaver area and am confused about Center Cemetery off Moffit Mill Rd. Is Center Cemetery and Crail Farm Cemetry the same cemetery? I see they both list a lot of the same tombstones but my research says Crail Farm Cemetry was off Crail Hill Rd? Any help would be appriciated.

Siblings
On Sir Robert Dymoke's Bio you see 2 siblings. I joined the Find A Grave Forums and queried this subject. Seems, if two memorial have the same parents (using the same memorial numbers), the software is placing the siblings under Siblings within Family Links. All siblings with memorials are listed here. The one who's memorial this is has been grayed out. By changing the numbers of the parents in EDIT FAMILY LINKS you delete the listing in the other sites but not immediately. I think this is a great idea. I routinely add Siblings in the EDIT BIO. Since Cut & Paste is how I do this, it's not much of a hassle. However, the EDIT BIO links are one way, there are no links in the other memorial. The benefit to this has to do with the managers of the children's memorials that don't respond to your request to link the parents. If you have thoroughly researched the relationship but get no response to your request, you can place the one way link in the EDIT BIO and the other manager doesn't see it on his memorial. The EDIT BIO link is still useful for linking others like Grandparents, Great Grandparents and to replace the names listed in the Obit with Hyperlinks. You have inherited a memorial with a very nice Obit. It includes names of aunts, uncles, grandchildren that either survived him or died before him. Most of these people have passed and you know their memorial numbers. By using the Cut & Paste method, you can replace just the name in the Bio with a Hyperlink. While it's nice that Find A Grave has added automatic siblings to it's program, I doubt they would add automatic grandparents or automatic honorary pallbearers. I hope this has been of help to you and of some news.
