Bio and Links
Bio Photo While posting my family tree, I've also set up some memorials for people who aren't in my family. If you find a relative among them and want a transfer, please let me know. I think family members usually do the best job of tending to the memorials.

I'm in Washington state.

Donald & Betty Giffin - Dew Cemetery, AthensCo., Ohio
Hi Sharon!!

I hope life is well for you!

I just filled your requests for Donald & Betty. Their graves are located on the other side though. They are considered to be in Conner Cemetery, Ward Twp., Hocking County.

That cemetery is a confusing one since it spans across Athens and Hocking Counties and nothing separating them . When I get to a computer, I will send the GPS coordonates as an edit.

Thanks for in ifo on Anson Conner by the way. I havent gotten to him yet but will shortly.

Thanks! - Jim

RE: William McCormick data and photos
Sharon,
I would be glad to make the changes to William McCormick if you transfer it to me. He is my great-great grandfather - was there again yesterday/ I also have information on the Reeds in Cody, ,Nebraska. Della (Barbee) Reed was the daughter of my great great grandfather Joshua Barbee and his 2nd wife.

RE: Lillian Decker correction & suggestions
Sharon, I would be happy to correct any information in my Ancestry tree if you think of it. I appreciate the efforts of gravehunters who add memorial pages for hundreds or thousands of people regardless of relationship. I think it's very appropriate and helpful to add the basic information, i.e., name, dates, cemetery, photos. Where I take exception is further embellishment, i.e., bios and other commentary, added to memorials by people who are not immediately related to the individual and/or the addition of death certificates in particular by anyone. I find the addition of death certificates to a findagrave memorial to be no more appropriate than taping one to someone's headstone. The manner of death is irrelevant to the memorial and in many cases highly personal. While other information on the death certificate might be helpful to genealogists and included in family trees, I think they should be left off memorials. I stood at the foot of General Patton's grave in Luxembourg and the absence of a death certificate seemed entirely warranted. Bios should be added sparingly. What if a close family member sees the memorial and is unhappy with it? Should they have to ask a relative stranger to change or remove it? Maybe it shouldn't be there in the first place. I was happy with your memorials and didn't feel like I needed to assume responsibility for them, however, I would appreciate it if you would transfer Allie (Wright) Wade Keeney's to me. She was my wife's grandmother and we are in touch with her other grandchildren. I believe the person beside Lillie in the photo was a friend. Who thought it was Aunt Opal? Obviously I don't make the rules on these websites, just expressing my opinion. Sincerely, Gary

Max Forward
Hi Sharon,

I was happy to locate the Forward family tombstones for you, but photographing them proved tricky, as they are in a heavily forested area.

There was one more Forward member on the lot: Max Forward, 1875-1889. I've created a memorial, and transferred him to you.

RE: Irene Helen (Boley) Connor
FindAGrave says Ancestry.com says she was buried in St Leo's in Columbus. Cannot find a St Leo's.
