|I started with Find-A-Grave researching my Maternal grandparents. Then turned my attention the South Carolina's Civil War Dead. I am now trying to locate those who served in the Regiments raised by the Palmetto State and organize them in virtual cemeteries by regiment and company. A daunting task but one that needs to be undertaken.|

Thank you for the link, I don't have John on my list of men who served in Company F. I need to do a little research there.
As to my virtual cemetery, I hid it from view because there's a well intentioned lady who was filling all the photo slots with muster rolls. I've had to request the removal of several when I found photographs of the men or to add the grave photo. I didn't want her to do that to all my memorials because I'm still working on them.

Thank you so much. Some soldiers names might not be right or units. The list I have is what I'm going by. R. Dill, Co. E, 12th S.C.. and just a last name Dillard, Co. G, 1st S.C.. They should have died in Richmond, Va. in one of the hospitals or battles around Richmond. I might have about 60 soldiers from S.C. I cant find. So take your time no hurry. Thanks again.

Just wanted to let you know how terrific (and ambitious!) I think your virtual cemeteries are. I think you added most, if not all of Company F, 7th SC Cavalry. Took me over a year to do just the one company so I wish you the best of luck. If you find any soldiers that I haven't found info on, please drop me line.

Thanks for the information on my husand's ancestor's memorial. I'm going to add it to his bio crediting you for the information. One thing since you're new on findagrave.... some people will have your information delete, because if you read the guidelines, you are suppose to put any information on bios and not as "a flower"... me personally, I don't care, but some folks want total control of their memorials. I'd hate to see those people delete the information you spent time researching. You can send them your additional information under the Edit button and then suggestion for correction to the memorial. Thanks again... I really appreciate your work. Sincerely, Fran
