|Margaret Green||Memorial #134197723|
On your memorial post for Hannah Lipscomb Green you quote what is written on her tombstone. In the quote you say "formerly wife of Abraham Green and mother of Eliza and Louvisa Jefferies". This much information on a tombstone is exceptional, and I would like to see the actual stone.
Are you planning to post a photograph of this tombstone at some later date? Also, was she buried near a second "Lipscomb" husband, or was "Lipscomb" her maiden name?
Thanks for any help you can provide,

|Paula Miller||Ambrose Ray|
Hello, I am an ancestor of Ambrose Ray, from Cross Keys, Union Co. SC. My 4th great grandmother, was one of his daughters. Her name is Sarah Ray Powers. She was b. 1789 Cross Keys,Union Co, SC. She was married in 1810 in Union Co by the Justice of the Peace there, by the name of Songbird. She married Bradly Powers b. 1750 Virginia and they moved to Buncombe Co NC, near the Black Mountain area. They had 5 children. Sarah died in 1865, and her husband died in 1842. I have names and listings for all their children. I also have a listing for another daughter of Ambrose and Elizabeth Holcombe Ray, by the name of Judith Ray. I am not sure of Judith married but she was born 1790, and died July 3 1860. I was wondering if you had this information and could these children be linked to their parents?

Hey cousin! I replied to your email. Where did you find information on Nancy Smith Kendrick? Have you viewed any church records for Skull Shoals? I'm thinking that is my next venture but I am not sure if it will be in the Gaffney or Union library. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I was reading through some of your earlier posts and I am curious....what is your relation to the Garners? Frank Garner is my great great grandfather. I have a lot of information on the Garners and am currently trying to research the Kendricks and Wilkins line.

I am happy to transfer all 4 memorials over to you. I'm glad I could help you out with your wife's relatives. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Have a great evening!

It's my guess that Mr. Crocker may have been married before Lucille and had children with them. And Lucille was probably married longest to Stacy, too. Since Stacy and Lucille had no children, Lucille probably wanted to be buried in the cemetery with her 1st husband and parents. Just my guess.

I have added the pictures. I want to thank you again.
Also, I did not realize that Stacy's wife, Lucille, remarried after his death.
So.... that is why I could not locate her death information, too.
With Great Appreciation,

We never did get to go get those pictures at Rehoboth, so the picture would be greatly appreciated, Dennis. I have request photos tonight.
