Finished up locating and photographing grave markers for all burials at the Boulder City Cemetery 501/551 Adams Blvd Boulder City, Nevada. Thanks for every ones help.
My current project is Woodland Cemetery in Las Vegas. Big thanks to Miracle Mile Tim for recommending this project. With in excess of 24,000 burial plots, Woodlawn may take 3-4 years to complete all memorials with obituaries and genealogical data.
Started photographing markers in the center part of Woodlawn and moving westward to Las Vegas Blvd. Ron Minor is photographing at the far east side of the cemetery and heading west towards the center.
The initial photographing and entry of remaining memorials should be completed by the summer of 2014.

My name is Jennifer Church. Thank you very much for putting up the memorial for my father, Ernest. My mother changed her mind and decided to keep his ashes with her - so the service was held there but he was not interred in Nevada. That is why you were unable to find the cemetery record .
I hope you will keep the memorial up. It is wonderful to see.

Thanks for the holiday wishes. Same to you and your family.
My work at Woodlawn has slowed down quite a bit as I'm focusing on my book project right now.
I started at Woodlawn in the rear section (next to Bruce Street).
So far I've have completed the following sections: Cypress 4/Pinyon West; Pinyon; Cypress 3 section (all); Redwood…. most of this is done, just have a few more to add here. Since I've been doing the back area I see that there have been some new interments which I need to add.
Thanks for your work and efforts also.
Later in 2014 I should be picking my pace back up after I get back from a research trip to Georgia (I'll be doing some grave sites while there, for my book research).
Just a note to let you know to help you out, I just completed all plots in Cypress 2

I used your tombstone picture for Jame's wife H. Imogene England Henderson # 120721408 (my post)
and gave you credit in her Obituary--per your bio on Find a Grave. Thank You Very Much, Marion

Thank you for the transfer of Sytha and an even bigger thank you for creating her memorial and taking the fine photograph. It's because of people like you that selflessly take on such a massive project like Woodlawn, that make this website the best of it's kind!

If you could send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, I can invite you to the ancestry tree. I have a different father for Harry H Braucher so would like to compare notes.
All the best,

I was glad to see you put a headstone on Henry's grave. I have been searching forever it seems to find out what happened to him! Thanks to find a grave I found him!
I think his wife is buried there also, somewhere, her name is Nellie & she died in 1984. So IF you come across her?
I have contacted Bradley about a transfer since Henry is a cousin. Will see if he responds?

Thank you very much for the transfers. These are my great-grandfather's parents. My grandmother, Ruby Slote Monasmith used to tell us stories about her father, Samuel. He was very secretive about his past, but he did tell her he was orphaned as a boy, and was sent to live with his uncle Jacob in Ohio. Later in life, when people asked him where he was from, he told them he was from Chicago, or Ohio, or Pennsylvania, depending on his mood. After leaving Ohio, Samuel never had any further contact with his family.
Hi Jeff. Miracle Mile Tim referred me to you since I have been doing work on the Woodlawn cemetery. I would like to help with this project. I see in your comments what sections you have been working on.
I don't have a layout of the cemetery but have been working on the sections near the back...near Bruce Street. You can contact me at email@example.com if you would like to coordinate our work together.
