I enjoy doing family genealogies of local North Fork Families and, as a result, I haunt graveyards on weekends. I would be pleased to share information on these families. Please do email me if you have any interest in the graves I have added.|

These are my grandparents. I still live in the area.
You really hit a jackpot. If you go back Stanley's (my grandfather)parents are there, as well as many family members.
So my grandparents on moms side are what you posted.
My Great grandmother & grandfather are there.
stanleys sister Sophie, her husband and her daughter.
Too many I will post pics.....
Linked to parents...thanks.
We've had a VERY cold winter here in northwest FL, but alas, at least we don't get snow. You just got a bunch more...be careful!!!
Thank you so very much for the photo of Salem and Sarah Davis. Sandy

You are so very welcome. I actually came across a memorial where you had listed the Gildersleeve Scrapbook collection. What a wonderful treasure trove! And so much work! lol Back and forth and back and forth to copy facts & snip tidbits of personal info.
I would imagine I'd run into a lot of the memorials that you've created as you've done so much work on the east end. I hope you won't mind if I send you a few of these every once in awhile (I will not be doing these every day and I will not inundate you).
I did just this one to see how it went and it took just about an hour till I was happy with it.
Thank you for posting it.
Take care and stay warm,

you did his stone last year, and we are looking for his wife, was there another stone by him with an Emile? We have her as Emelie Kart but maybe she is in her maiden name. Thanks, just thought you might live near this Sounds Ave Cemetery
Hi Joy Ann, just wanted to say thanks for putting so many of the Montgomerys up here on findagrave. My mother's a Montgomery from Jamaica and much of the ancestors are from the North Fork.
Linked...thanks. Wonder why the surname is spelled differently?

Joy, thank you so much for making the additions to the memorial pages on Robert Norcott and Elizabeth (Betsey) Vail Norcott. They are my 5th great uncle and aunt who never had any children. Therefore it's important for me to hold them in remembrance and respect.

Hi Joy Ann,
I have a question and I figured you are much more familiar with the area's smaller cemeteries than I am. I see there is a Hashamomack Cemetery in Southold with 103 memorials in it. I came across a cemetery listed in an obit called Arshamomack which is also listed on Find A Grave. I almost added it but I stopped when I saw there were no memorials listed in it. (The person I was going to add was already listed in Hashamomack.)
My question is this - are they the same cemetery? Did it used to be called Arshamomack and it was changed? I'm curious because the funeral home was the one who listed the cemetery under that name.
If they are the same, I can request that the alternative name be added so that any future memorials are added to the right cemetery no matter what.
Hopefully, I'm making sense. I know what I want to say and I hope it's coming out that way. If I've totally confused you, please let me know.
I hope you have a warm, wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
Thanks for the headstone photo of Jemima.
Have a wonderful holiday!
