I try to give as much info as I can on the forgotten ones. If you need an extra set of eyes adding to your ancestor, I am willing to help in any way I can.|
I usually search for forgotten/unk infants-young children graves as well as pioneer cemeteries. I seek cemeteries that are no longer included in the city records because they have all been long, long forgotten-
If I can help reunite you with your young ancestor or a friend, I am more than happy to do so. I want the very young to be remembered, I would love to reunite them with their true families.

Debbie, I found the book online to purchase and have already placed an order. The site is Genealogical.com Thank you for finding the reference! Regards, Terri

Debbie, I believe my late grandmother, Pauline Robinson Purviance, must have come across the book doing her research in the late 1960's and early 1970's. I ran across a page from her notes that included the sentence "Miss Blanche Walden - Coolville, Ohio offers data on DeWees and Purviance." George Purviance son of James and Elizabeth Purviance was my great-great-great grandfather. Do you have a link to the book? I would love to have it if it is available. Thank you, Terri Caniford

Wow, thank you for your help in taking a look. I have tried for years to find a connection and have been unable to. I have seen Seiplers as well. It is possible that her maiden name was Seiplers but the individual who filled out the marriage license wrote Cyphers, maybe because he/she was familiar with the Cyphers family in Greene Co.
They never seemed to confirm spellings back then. What they heard you say, they wrote down!

No problem. Are you a relative? To be honest, I had an ulterior motive for finding the obit's for some of the children of John Cyphers & Catherine Wagner of Greene county.
My GGG-grandmother is Eliza Cyphers who married Adam Burrier in Greene County, OH. I have been trying to find who her parents were for years. Every online family tree of John & Catherine Cyphers, does not have Eliza listed as their daughter, but they were the ONLY Cyphers family that I am aware of that lived in Greene Co., OH around the 1840's. My inclination tells me Eliza is their daughter, but I have no HARD evidence.
I was hoping that maybe (just maybe) one of their kids obituaries may reference living and/or deceased siblings in them, but I have not had any luck yet.
If you have information or know anything about what I am talking about...please let me know!

Thank you so much! I hope to have more free time soon to really delve into this more. If you ever come across that information for the other children, would love to know!

Thank you so much for the very touching note regarding my 10 yr old grandson, Blake Dickus, that was murdered. It is especially a hard time right now since he will be turning 18 years old in two more days. I don't know which is more unbearable, the grief of losing him or the grief of watching my daughter suffering from the loss of her only child. There are no words for the pain and it does NOT get easier as time goes on. I sincerely appreciate your kind words of sympathy and prayers for the capture of the person responsible for this horrific double homicide.
In regard to your question about Hannah Lovitt Thompson. No, she is not related to me so I transferred her to you to enjoy caring for. You are a blessing to many people for helping them with their loved ones.
Thank you so much for your note and request. It was a pleasure to create and transfer the Memorial to you. God bless our police, firemen, and EMTs for the wonderful, caring jobs they perform! Also, God bless the Debbie, the Mother of Brian, a courageous firefighter in South Carolina, who gave her son the compassion and love to serve others and God!
Have a wonderful evening!
God Bless You and Your Family!!

Thank you so much Debbie! I worked on them some today. I really want to find some more information on M.E.B. as he served in the Civil War as a Union Soldier.
