Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy has become a hobby for me, kind of like working crossword puzzles. Taking an inventory of local cemeteries gets me out of the house, a little exercise and I feel like I'm contributing. I enjoy it.

I am related to very, very few of the persons that I identify. Therefore, if you are a relative that can provide a bio and/or update the relationship links, I will gladly transfer the memorial to you, ... just ask.

If you would like to request a Transfer, please do the following. (Make sure you are logged in to

1. From the memorial that you would like to acquire, select "Edit" followed by "Suggest a correction ...".
2. Enter your relationship and any other comments in the text area, then submit the form.

This will provide me with all of the information that I need to perform the transfer.

Thank you so much. I may ask a little later to transfer my family members. I'm still too new and just trying to coordinate all. I appreciate all of your time and work.

RE: Clyde Mathis
Just read and the Clyde N Mathis that I know is buried at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Forsyth Co, Ga with his wife, Mary Waldrip.
Thanks for the quick response.
He does have reference numbers with his Find a grave listing...I just didn't write them down.
You can probably find it by going to Find a grave, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Forsyth County, GA. His brother RC and wife Arvilla are buried at Sawnee View Gardens, Forsyth Co, GA.
Thanks for the work you do to make this site complete.

Clyde Mathis
The Clyde Mathis you have as son of Charlie Mathis lived in Forsyth County GA and was married to Mary Waldrip. I'm not sure if they are buried at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Forsyth County or Sawnee View Gardens in Forsyth County, but they were my neighbors and never lived in Ellijay. They had children: Barbara Jean, Margie and Charles

Info for Sarah Jane Chastain Rampley
Hi, everything looks great on bio for Sarah Jane Chastain Rampley; Find A Grave Memorial# 86157803. Thanks for all your hard work! I just noticed one thing... Her father's family link is wrong. It's to the wrong Obediah Chastain. According to an Indian claim for she completed, her father Obediah died on 30 Nov 1856 (in Gordon Co, GA I believe). I've not found a grave for him. He often gets confused with another Obediah who lived in DeKalb, Pike, Gordon and Cobb Counties. That Obediah reportedly born in NC and raised by Hamby family (if memory serves). He was buried in 1907 in Cobb. See Family links: Parents: Obadiah Chastain (1821 - 1907). Hope this helps!
