Genealogy has been a hobby of mine for 38+ years now. I started searching Find A Grave for information on my own family lines, then became a member and added a few memorials and tombstone photographs. Things have slowly grown from there.|
If I'm managing a memorial for one of your relatives, please let me know. I will gladly transfer any memorial not in my own direct line. Just use the edit tab on the memorial and include your Find A Grave member number with your request. Please indicate your relationship to the person on the memorial in your request.
ATTENTION: I want to make sure that proper credit is given for any photograph posted in my name in Henderson, McLean, and Webster counties in Kentucky. Those photographs were taken by and posted with the permission of my Find A Grave friend, Karen Waddell. Karen and I have formed a sort of Find A Grave partnership where I set up the memorials and she does the leg work of visiting and photographing the cemeteries. Some photographs she posts herself but a great many she forwards on to me for posting. If you want to thank someone for a tombstone photograph which I have posted for one of your relatives in those counties, please send your thanks to Karen. She deserves it!

Thanks so much for the photo, Minnie is the last of immediate family of uncle Harry's second wife. Looks like no snow in Salt Lake Cemetery.

Hello-May I use your headstone picture for Dallas (#94566833) and Vi (#114540947) Meredith in my Ancestry.com tree? I will be sure to give you photo credit. Thanks for all your hard work in find a grave-Marsha Adkison-Ogden, Utah
|Joan Gill||Mary Gill|
Mary Ferrando Gill was married to my uncle, Harry Morrison Gill (2nd wife). Do you have any information as to his death/burial. He is not in the family plot in Salt Lake City. I created his memorial (155060611) with as much as I know.
Also - where is Mary Gill?
Thanking you in advance for your attention and reply.
|Esther Kinder||Hi Friend|
Dear Lynn: I am glad you clarified the name for my dear friend. I will be going to her funeral tomorrow and will find out for sure where she was born. I believe it was Switzerland. Now it is cold you can stay home and get some rest. Thank you for all you do for this wonderful site.
|Julie Haws||Brigham Rigby Young|
Thank you for putting in the link to Brigham Rigby Young's parents. If you had approved the edit I would have gone back in and restored the link to Brigham's spouse, Emma. For some reason, once in a great while, findagrave kicks out the edit and won't accept the parents until I remove the spouse saying that the spouse link has been done twice. Crazy.
|kent shepard||Brenda Greener May|
Thanks for the infomation on Brenda Greener May's headstone.I have added it to her memorial.
|Esther Kinder||Lottie Oefele|
Dear Lynn: Thank you so very much for the transfer. Where did you get her first name from?
I have never only known her by Lottie since the 1970's. I don't think I have ever heard it from Peggy either.
