Thank you for transferring Margaret & Sampson's memorials to me. Now this brother and sister are "reunited" with their parents. Thank you so much for creating their memorials. No one else on Ancestry knows yet that "Smith"'s real name was Sampson Smith Williamson. We never would have found him under just Smith. Keep up the good work. You never know what mysteries you solve when you create a memorial.
Thanks for all the edits on the Collins family in Woodland Cemetery. My grandmother's brother and his wife, Marybelle Collins Downie, are buried in that cemetery.
That explains the monument in Woodland. The actual cemetery isn't listed in my family resource. I don't know where I got Cherry Grove. Congratulations for making the connection in spite of it being the wrong cemetery. Thanks again. The other info I added was from my great-grandfather's 1905 family history.

A special THANK YOU for the effort you are extending in the process of listing the memorials. I looked for many years for a final resting place for her. Best wishes to you and yours.

Thank you for the memorial for Jane Connor in Ohio. Are you a relative? I wonder because the memorial mentions the carving made in the 1950's which is no longer visible. Thanks again, Karen in Michigan

A person does not have to be deceased to have a marker -- with their birthdate -- in a cemetery. I can point to several where the person isn't even buried there.
Elizabeth is the first wife of Clarence Louder Grice who was the 2nd husband of my 2nd cousin 3 times removed, so I will decline to manage the memorial.
Will be very interested to hear what you learn at Woodland. Good luck.

Yes, I'm quite certain. Whoever did that reading recorded her birthdate as the date of her death, I think. If you look at Find A Grave Memorial 130007250, you will see that memorial 126427826 is a duplicate. It seems highly dubious to me that there were two people of the same name, one born the very day the other died. Personally, I would delete memorial 126427826 in the absence of proof that such a stone was ever in the cemetery; I note the absence of a photo. Probably the cemetery could cast some light on this from their records, too.

Thank you for your photos. He is a bit of a mystery, including his parentage -- even the spelling of his first name.

Thank you for fulfilling my photo request of Infant Bottorff's marker at Woodland cemetery. Even though there was no stone at least her final resting place is now documented.
