Hi Nancy,
I looked in the book the Saeger family tree and from the information you gave me couldn't find anything to confirm it, but that is not to say is isn't so. ( what your message said to me ) "I am trying to verify that Magdalena Saeger who married Dewalt Schaefer in 1773 is the daughter of Johan Christian and Maria Susanna Hahn. " Would you have any info on this branch? Thanks.

Thanks for your posts of the Jerusalem cemetery in Seneca County, New York. My ancestors are Ackers... Solomon Acker was my 3rd great grandfather, and he married Susan Mertz in 1845 in Seneca County. Susan was born in 1826 in Seneca County, New York, and her parents' names were George and Anna, as far as I can tell.
